Demi-Titans

I dared to look back at the building I had accidentally ignited. Flames spiraled around the building. I saw two kids, a boy and a girl, sprint towards me attempting to get away from the building.

"I thought your mo wanted us to come here to find another demi-titan not to almost die!" screech the boy who's hair was blonde but sprinkled with ashes.

"She did and we can't fail her." The girl spoke "We have to keep looking."

My natural instinct told me to talk to them. "Uh, Hi. I'm secret." I walked over to where they were resting under a tree in a park nearby the smoldering book store.

They looked up in surprised then met eyes. The girl nodded at the boy and her waist length white hair bobbed with her head. "I'm Angel" she said "and this is Clint. Nice to meet you secret."

I felt like ice-blue eyes were tearing into my heart. Picking the lick to the vault where I keep my darkest secret. But, I didn't let her get in.

"I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. What's a demi-titan?" I asked. Once again Clint and Angel locked eyes.
