Chapter 8 Kira
Me and Percy were standing on half blood hill, looking down on the camp. It was beautiful. Long Island Sound on the beach, the sun setting down into the skyline, strawberry fields where campers learned to grow (we're they making them Insta-grow?!) cabins everywhere you look. Their must've been dozens! I smiled down at the camp. This is my new home.
I left my mom a few days ago with Percy and Grover. She had explained that my dad was actually some old Greek dude, not a marine. She wouldn't say who though. Wonder why Now we just had to figure out who. What Greek god controls time? I wanted to bring up what happened at the school but neither of them seemed to notice it when it happened so I ignored it.
"Lot to take in ain't it? Don't worry, you'll get used to it." Percy said, smirking.
"It's beautiful. You live here?"
"Well I live with my mom and I was gonna move in with my girlfriend Annabeth soon but when I'm not with them, I'm here."
"It's amazing. Where's my cabin?"
"Well, for people who don't know their godly parent, they sleep in Hermes cabin, God of travelers and all." He headed down the hill and I followed after him almost falling on my face a few times. I love this place already!
We walked threw the camp, waving hi to campers who were either a. sword fighting b. riding flying Pegasus or c. Hanging around camp doing actual normal camp things.
Percy kept walking until we came up to a giant blue house. He stopped on the front porch and opened the door.
"This is as far as I can go. But come and find me later. Im sure my friends would like to meet you. Chirons waiting inside so just head on in." He walked off waving goodbye. I took a deep breath and walked inside.
