The Blood of Titans

I open my eyes and everything begins to spin and jump around. It was like when I tried to but my dyslexia gets in the way.

When everything focuses I see I girl standing over me "Hey, Will, I think he's awake!" A young man comes over and pulls his blonde hair out of his face.

I sit up to find myself on a scarlet couch surrounded by creepy stone statues, "That why I felt like I was being watched,"I concluded as I looked at a very really looking statue of a saytr.

"I'm Minnie," The girl held out her hand and I shook it.

I jumped up as Coach Hedge rushed shouting, "Oh, no You don't cupcakes! We need to get in the truck before snake lady comes back?"

I turned to Minnie "Who's the snake lady?"

"Well, she's Medusa," She whispered the name "A lighting bolt appeared and killed her as she tried to bring you in side."

She then grabs my hand and pulls me outside, "Let's get going."

Later in the Car


I was squished in between Will and another girl who I found out is named Lou Ellen.

"Who's your godly parent?" Will asks as rain beats down on the truck.

"Selene," I say, "You?"

"I'm a son of Apollo," he answers "Selene has had a child since...I don't know,"

"How do you find out?" We look at Minnie, "How do you find out who your godly parent is?"

Lou replies "When you get to camp your godly parent will claim you."

"Speaking of camp...Here we are," Coach smiles.

I look around but but just see rain.
