I stepped out of he van, a storm brewing over the hill.
"Dang guys, is your weather always like this?" The guy I talked to earlier, Will, stepped up, looking worried.
"No...no, something's wrong. It never rains in camp, at least not like this"
The coach runs up, holding down his hat, the wind almost blowing it away "let's get a move on cupcakes! We gotta get out of this storm!" He slowly makes his way up the hill, the others following after. I walk next to the Minnie girl, still a little soar from my "brother".
"So, great first day huh?" She laughed weakly, smiling.
"I'd much rather have been back at home where it's sunny and not soaking"
"Hey man, I feel right at home. This storms got nothing on Seattle!" As if on cue, a lightning bolt stroke the ground not five feet away from me, making my ears pop.
"Insulting a storm?" Will says from up front "Not the best idea for a demigod!"
"Quiet down cupcakes! We're almost there!"

I looked up at the top of the hill, a glowing gold light shining like a beacon. As I got closer, I saw it was some sort of wool hanging from a tree branch. I looked down over the camp, expecting maybe a nice fun sunny place, lots of campers doing camp stuff. Instead, a valley resting between the hills, campers grabbing their stuff out of flooding cabins as the water level rises. Everyone seemed to be moving into a pavilion at the top of the hill. Will looked down, horrified
"What's going on?! Why is Zues doing this?!" Before anyone could say anything, he took off down the hill, heading for a orange cabin that seemed to be glowing I ran down after him, going for the nearest caving to try and help. A guy stood at one cabins, somehow pushing away the water as camper grabbed their stuff, then moved to the next one. A blonde girl was rushing in between cabins that the boy cleared out, doing everything she could.
"Percy! Don't push yourself!"
"I've got it Annabeth!" He called threw clenched teeth, water dripping down his face.
I ran next to the boy, grabbing his shoulder "How can I help?"
"Unless you can move water, you can't!"
I hesitated, wondering if I should use my powers again. I'd used it once before, when I was a kid. Not really having a choice, I took a breath, my eyes glowing silver as I helped push back the water, a tugging sensation in my stomach as I bent the water to my will, clearing out more cabins. The guy, Percy, looked at me stunned.
"H-how are you doing that?" Before I could answer, another rush of water came in, both of us having to focus to push it back.
Minnie came over to help, grabbing supplies and carrying them up the hill then rushing back down and doing it again.
"We can't do this all day! We've got to pull back!" As soon as we let go of the water,might bing struck, a man in a business suit floating with a lightning bolt in his hand, pointing right at me
"DAVID BANNER! YOU MUST DIE!"
All I saw was a flash.
