The Blood of Titans

KiraI sat with the Hermes kids around a small campfire, the flames small and purple. Chiron had called for the entire camp, more then 2,000 demigods, to gather in the amphitheater to discuss Zeus's warning. I'm not sure why, but that Zeus guy rubbed me wrong. Something about him annoyed me.
Chiron stamped his foot against the pavement, the sound echoing threw the theater, "Heroes! As you have likely heard, Zeus has attacked one of our campers tonight,"
Murmurs passed threw the crowd, the fire getting smaller and colder, like it could sense the crowds emotions.
"Now, our oracle, Rachel Dare," he gestured to a girl with fiery red hair and green eyes dressed in black clothing. "Has assured us that we have nothing to worry about. There is no new prophecy, everything will be fine" he smiled at the crowd, the fire getting a little bit brighter.
"Now then, I believe it is time for a sing-along!" Some of the kids with blond hair, the Apollo cabin, stepped onto the stage, playing songs like "you can't ride in my big red chariot" and "she'll be coming round the mountain if Zeus permits".
The campers started singing along, the fire glowing bigger and brighter. I couldn't help but think though. What did Zeus mean by "others like him"? From what Percy explained, everyone here is a demigod. If Zeus is attacking others like him, then why didn't he just blow up the entire camp? Unless if he wasn't...
My thoughts were interrupted when someone from Hermes cabin, Travis I think, tapped my shoulder.
"Come on Kira!" He said happily, "It's supposed to be a party, try and have some fun!"
I smiled weakly, nodding. "Yea, sure."
I wish it could've stayed like that forever.
