Rogues

I open my hazel eyes and sky colored eyes looking at me "Are feeling ok?" the man asks.

What happened in the forest rushes back to me and I jump out of bed an yell "You can't keep me here! I'll get out eventually!" I try the door handle but it's locked. I pull out my sword and keep the man in the corner of the room.

"I'm just trying to help you." he says.

"Let me see your right hand," I order and he holds it out. I inspect his hand for the rose with a eye in the middle that is etched into every member of the Blue Eyed Wonders palm.

"Ok, " I sheath my sword and take a deep breath "You're not one of them."

The man seemed confused but he went along with it "I'm Will Solace, son of Apollo. Sorry I locked the the door; the boy said you go crazy when you see people with blue eyes. He was right."

"You're a demi-god?" I couldn't believe it. An adult demi-god!

"Sure thing. Who's parent?" Will said as he unlocked the door.

"My mom is Hecate," I say as we walk into a kitchen where I see Natt and Rain sitting eating sandwiches, "I'm Gem, by the way."
