The light in our sky

These week at camp has been terribly boring. Nothing new or interesting happened. But it all changed when I was sleeping. I was having a dream, when suddenly it changed and I was at a palace. In front of me was a woman with a dress. She was the most beautiful women I've ever seen: dark hair, eyes like mine. The difference was that she seemed to me made of power. I recognized her immediately:

- Mom? What are you doing in my dream? - I asked a little confused

Aphrodite smiled at me:

- I have something very important to ask you Mary.

I waited for her to continue talking, and she did so:

- You see, the other day, I was walking around, when I heard someone yelling on the other room. As i'm a bit curious, I couldn't help but listen the whole conversation.

I kept in silence, because i knew she had not finished yet.

- And it was Athena, arguing with her daughter, annabeth. It was about Percy.

- Why is she telling me that? - I thought to myself

She kept talking, and told me the whole conversation.

- And what does that has to do with me?? - I asked after she finished.

- Now, the real reason I brought you here was to give you a mission. - The goddess talked again

- I know you are good at making plans, and usually they work. So, I was hoping you could make one of your crazy plans to make Athena see that her daughter is right this time.
I said nothing for a moment. A mission to annoy other goddess?? Tempting.. This could be fun.. I smiled:

- Ok. I'm not gonna fail it! - I exclaimed with determination and enthusiasm

- One more thing before you go - Aphrodite called me - Please don't tell anybody else about this. I don't want Athena to know, neither you want the whole camp right?

And with that, she disappeared and the next second I was lying in my bed on cabin 10. I looked at the hours and it was almost breakfast time. So, I woke the whole cabin, got ready, and went to the mess hall.

When I got there, almost all the camp was there. But I noticed two people were missing. And on that moment, the blond haired girl, and the boy with green eyes walked in, holding hands. They went to their tables, but with a kind of sad look for being separated.

After watching this scene I realized I had to do something as fast as I can. I went to my morning classes, but as I had nothing to do after lunch I went to my cabin to think of a plan. But this time I had nothing in mind.

- Hey Mary! - Silena entered the room. But then she noticed I was focused on thinking
- What have you been thinking all day?? - She asked

- Nothing important really- For a second, I thought about telling her, but I remembered that it was supposed to be a "secret plan".

- Ahh. Well, since it's not important, what do you say about coming with me watching sword fight lessons?

I knew that she really meant to say: "Let's see Beckendorf shirtless!" , but I agreed to go. I needed to stop thinking about plans and distract myself. We went to the arena, and sat at the countertops. As I watched the guys fighting, I realized one of them was Percy. Of course he was there! We all at camp, had heard how good he was at sword fight.

Thats when my brain decided to work properly and in three seconds, I had a perfect plan on my mind. The only problem now was to get some "authorizations"..

- I think she wants to kill you - Silena woke me up from my "dream", pointing to the other side of the arena.

- What? - I asked. Next I look forwards and where Selena was pointing, was a angry Annabeth, looking at me with her killer look. Seriously! Does that girl ever looked at me with her normal face?

- She always looks at me like she wants to kill me - I replied.

- Well.. this time I kinda have to agree with her..

- What?!

- You were for like 3 minutes staring at boyfriend!

Great. I realized I had been staring at Percy the whole time I made the plan
.
- Hey I was not! I got distracted, but I wasn't staring at him intentionally! - I protested

- ahah go tell her that.

And so, I waited for class to end and went talk to her. Of course she was already talking with Percy. So, I choosed the best moment to interrup them.

- Sorry! I have to talk to her for a while - I said as I took Annabeth away from him.

- Hi.. so about the class.. I wans't lookig at Percy.. Well at least not intentionally. I was thinking about something and.. you see.. - I started to explain myself

But she didn't cared at all. She looked at me, said something about killing me if I looked at him that way again, turned around, and walked away.

I decided to ignore what happened, went to my cabin and the rest of the afternoon I perfected the plan.

I woke up before the rest of the cabin, and went right away talk to to Chiron. I told him only the necessary: That I had a dream conversation with my mother, she gave me a mission, which consisted on making a plan, and what I needed for it.

When I finished, Chiron looked at me:

- Well.. You realize that what you're asking for is a bit dangerous...

But before I could say something else, the room started to shine and Aphrodite appeared in front os us. She said she wanted to talk to Chiron in private, and after minutes of conversation, finally he agreed on letting me do what I wanted

- But.. If anything goes wrong, you two take all the responsibilities! - She said pointing towards me and Aphrodite.

We looked at him.

- Alright! Go take some breakfast and meet me here next.

I did as he told me to do and I was ready to leave camp when I started to glow pink and suddenly I was wearing a dress.

- The blessing of Aphrodite.. - I muttered to myself turning to my mother that was still in the room

- Yes. - She confirmed. - Good luck

I swear she winked at me. And after that I was ready to make my plane work.

Notes

Ok first: You can't imagine how sorry I am for not posting on like 20 days. But I was on Christmas vactions with my family and I really couldn't write :(

So, I made this small chapter because I thought It would be better post a small one, to make you wait another week xD Besides, my "small chapters" are already huge so...

BTW happy new year (worth more later than never :P)
