MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!
Happy Birthday to me! Today is the day I finally turn 16! At 16 most girls are worried about getting their drivers license. Me not so much... I'm worried about fitting in with The Seven, I guess. I just want to be friends with this group. Sure I've only known them for a month, and Percy's my half brother and we are friends already, but still they don't know the, um,*plays with sleeve* real me... The me with low self-esteem, the me that hates camera, the me that was a spoiled brat... That's me. I am antisocial. People joke and say that I'm just as glum and antisocial as Nico di Angelo-Hazel's half brother. I actually have a reason to be antisocial, unlike Nico who likes conversing with shadows and spirits. Being born with a god for a father and Alice Webster as a mother, well let's just say it leaves you with some high expectations hanging over your head...
I walk into the dining pavilion expecting to see the normal hustle and bustle of morning and breakfast, to be greeted with silence and nothingness. I sit down at a random table and think. Suddenly, as I look at my watch to see the time, a big horde of people-like every camper-jumps out and scream,"HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANYA!!!!!!!!!!" Uh oh... I think.
"I, um, have to, er, go," I stutter. I turn and run to the stables to get some peace and quiet for once.
