The Darkness Is Coming

Chapter 5
Annabeth’s P.O.V.

Amazingly on the trip here we only run into 1 monster and no other danger. We got to the Lotus Casino. Honestly I did not want to be here. I also had a feeling that Percy didn’t want to be here either, but we just went inside. Leo looked around

“I don’t see the big deal. You guys seem nervous.” he said

“Let’s just find what we’re looking for” I said

“Agreed,” said Percy “but where are we going to look. I mean it’s not like we can just ask someone.”

“Ture,” I said “but we should probably check the floors”

“For what?” asked Percy

“A person dhu.” said Leo “ If we are going to to look at all the floors I suggest we take the elevator” Then he started walking towards them. Percy and I follow. When we get there Leo is just about to hit the 2 floor button, but I see something.

“Wait!” His hand freezes.

I kneel down “There’s a button” I tell them “It goes down to the basement.”

“That’s where we are going is it?”

“Yep” I click the button and some elevator music played

“Man the music is worse than the one to Olympus.” said Percy. I smile and Leo looks at us strangely. We reach the bottom. There’s a long corridor that leads to a door. Percy pulls out a Riptide and I pull out a dagger that Percy gave me for my 18th birthday. We open the door and walk in.

A girl that looks like Percy looks back at us. She looks at Leo and me first. Then she looks at Percy. She seems to recognize him.

“Percy?” she saies. Then her eyes go pitch black.

A voice that sounds nothing like the one we just heard says “Ahhh, I see you've finally come back Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase. This time I’ve got the upper hand” She smiles and I look over at Percy
“The voice seems familiar” He says

“That’s because is Nyx’ He curses and Nyx laughs. A black sword appears at her hands. She hits Leo hard in the chest effectively knocking him out. Then she turns to us. Percy and I do what we always do. She starts to fight us. She is preety good. She trips me when I am not paying attention. She leaves it open to Percy and he knocks her down and has her sword tip close to her chest.

She laughs as if this is now big deal “You wouldn’t kill you’re twin would you?” That ches him off guard and she knocks him to the ground. His head hits the ground. I know he wouldn’t be joining the fight for a little bit.

The girl turns on me. I am already am on my feet. We fight for a bit neither of us getting any were. I tried to use trickery, but whenever I opened up my mouth she pressed me harder and I had to catch my breath. Some how I end up back on the floor. She looks at me and just for an instant I see her eyes flicker to green. “Annabeth Chase. You will feel my-”

Then her voice cuts off and her eyes stay green she looks at me. Then she collapsed.

Hey so I am back sorry it took so long. I just had life I will right another one and I am getting to the stories I have missed in the last 2 months. On a good note I just had my birthday. Oh and I was writing a different book(not a Percy one) so HIIIIIIIIIiIiiIIIIIIIIIiiIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
