She sat there, rigid with shock, as the magician bounded towards her, and stopped in front of her. Sadie seemed distraught, with crescent moons under her eyes and a few strands of her hair here and there. "Annabeth! Oh, thank the gods, I--" she stopped and looked at her friend in concern. "Are you alright?" She still had her faint British accent, and waved her hand in front of Annabeth's face. "Hello? Earth to Annabeth!" "Yeah." Annabeth blinked a few times and stood up. "Yeah, I'm fine. Sadie, HOW did you get here?"
"I kind of traveled/hitchhiked here. It's the Brooklyn House. It's been burned to the ground. No one knows how. The Egyptian gods have gone quiet, the House of Life is in chaos trying to figure out what happened, all the portals have closed, and the Duat can't be accessed. Everyone got out alright, but......." Sadie swallowed and continued. "I came here because of a dream I had. A dream of your camp and another camp, a camp called Camp Jupiter, being destroyed, the demigods, gods, and magicians alike being enslaved by Chaos, Night, and Tartarus, the Greek kind, I mean. Carter, Walt, Zia, and Uncle Amos are at the Big House with Percy and Chiron, explaining. Chiron asked me to fetch you, since he wanted a word."
Slowly, Annabeth nodded, trying to process all she'd just heard. The Egyptians' world had fallen into disarray, and soon will theirs'. They had to stop this. Oh, she thought this would end, all the wars, quests and battles, and the prophecies. She sighed, and looked behind her, and say the confused faces of Nico and Will, and Alex, who just seemed plain old surprised. Sadie looked too, and paled. "You." She said pointing a finger at Alex. "You!"
"Me..... Who?" She said, glancing at a slightly crazed Sadie.
"Sadie, calm down, this is Alex, she's a daughter of Hecate, she only arrived yesterday--"
"No! She-- she's the fourth fate! She's Nyx's daughter! You-- you knew this would happen, didn't you?"
Alex slowly stood up and said, "My brother Hypnos told me, but only of the coming war, not of the loss of the Brooklyn House."
"Wait," Nico said, standing up as well. "You're a daughter of NYX?? How is that even possible! There isn't a fourth fate!" "And yet I stand in front of you, Nico. I'll explain, but first I need to talk to Chiron. And Amos. And Hypnos. And Hecate. And Zeus. Oh dear......" She sighed and scowled. "I KNEW this wouldn't work. I've only been here a day and this is happened. I'm going to pulverize my brother." She began to walk towards the Big House, Will, Nico, Annabeth, and Sadie following.
