The New Demigods

I am James Klein. I have trouble being "normal". It started becoming more and more obvious that I was different over the years. One time, I was even attacked by a hobo while I was walking home from school. He started yelling, "Why can't you people go back? Don't you see what you are doing to the mortals?"
After he stopped yelling, he hopped out of his seat and started to scratch me with overgrown nails. The pain was unlike any other I had ever felt. The weirdest thing happened after he scratched me though. The watch I got from my father for my 13 birthday started to glow. It then got bigger and bigger until, eventually, it turned into a bow with a quiver of arrows.
Unfortunately, my watch was not the only thing that transformed. The first thing I noticed was that his eyes changed from brown, to a dark, almost threatening red. He then grew and changed until he eventually became a Minotaur. Stranger yet, I was the only one that noticed that he wasn't human. Of course I grabbed the bow with arrows and started loosing them like crazy. I didn't even know I was such a bowman. I had never even touched a bow in my life!
My quiver emptied quickly and none of the arrows did anything to the monster. "What in the name of Hades have you gotten yourself into James?" I had no clue where the voice came from. But I did know whose it was. "Elle? What are you doing here? And why did you say Hades?" "Save you questions for later James! I have to destroy the Minotaur!" "But how? All you have is a coin!"
Little did I know, Elle had a weapon too. It turned out to be the coin. It slowly transformed into a long blade she called Arc Apollo. I think that name was a little standoffish and self imposing.
"I see you tried destroying it all ready," said Elle," but you can't do it with a bow and arrows. Or a sword in that matter!" She then proceeded to cut off the monster's horn. "You have to use its horn against it!"
"Elle how do you know all this? And why did the man turn into... that and try to kill me?"
"I told you to wait" she said as the Minotaur disentigrated into a bronze dust. "Now I need to get you to the DA."
"Wait! Before we go... What is 'the DA'?"
"It is an organization dedicated to keeping the reality of demigods and monsters a secret," she replied, "And you, James, are a demigod!"
