Forced to Love

Eliza's POV
The gods were threatening war. And I was the reason. My name is Eliza Ann Jackson, and my two uncles, Zeus and Hades, don't exactly like me. Since I have a brother, Percy, who is a son of Poseidon, Hades doesn't like that there are two children of Poseidon, when he only has one child, Nico. So, I guess Hades pretty much hates both of us. Zeus hates me, specifically, because I'm supposed to be dead. When Percy and I were born, our mother knew she wouldn't be able to protect both of us, and she didn't want me to have to go through the disrespect Percy would have to go through for him to be protected. So she begged for Poseidon to take me to live with him in his underwater palace. So, he did. I lived with him happily for seven years until, one night, as I was coming up for air (after all I can't stay underwater forever, even if I am the daughter of Poseidon), Zeus saw me. Of course, he was infuriated. He had decreed that gods couldn't have contact with their mortal children, yet his brother was living with the demigod child! Zeus sent a messenger to Poseidon telling him that if I hadn't left by three days from that day, then he would kill me the next time that I came up for air. Of course, wanting me to live, my father sent me back to my mother. But, with the help of Hecate, made sure that Zeus was not made aware of this. After the three days were up, Poseidon sent a full color water hologram up to the cave where he knew one of Zeus' helpers was waiting. Thinking that it was me, the helper killed it and reported that to Zeus. So I'm supposed to be dead.
There was only one way to stop this war. Percy or I had to get married to either one of Zeus' or Hades' children. So basically I had to marry either Jason or Nico. Percy would only be able to marry a girl child of the big three if he married a Roman girl (if there even are any female Roman children of the Big Three) . Thalia, daughter of Zeus, is the only living girl child of the Big Three, besides myself, but she joined the Hunters of Artemis, a virgin girl group that lives immortally. Bianca, daughter of Hades and older sister of Nico, is dead. I was the only person who could stop this war. I had to marry either Jason or Nico. Once I was married the gods would swear on the River Styx not to fight each other, but, until then, the rest of the gods would join sides. If I wasn't married within the next two months, the war would begin.
Percy, being the protective brother that he was, didn't want me to marry out of obligation. He wanted me to marry out of love. After finally getting fed up with his protests I snapped told him "Look, I have to. If I don't it is literally the end of the world. There is nothing you can do to stop me from getting married. The only thing you can do is protest against it at the wedding and I don't think that the gods will be very happy if you do that!" After finally getting my rant over with, my demeanor melted and my voice hushed to a whisper "I don't want to, Percy"
I fell into his hug and cried my heart out. His voice that had soothed me for so long, couldn't stop the tears.
