Forced to Love

Chiron and Percy had helped me. I had made a choice. The only problem now was breaking the news to him. Thankfully he was at Camp Half Blood instead of at Camp Jupiter. This would have been worse over Iris Message. Despite the fact that I was really scared, I held my head high, tried to look confident, and make eye contact, like it was no big deal, it’s just a arranged marriage! It’s just business!
As I slowly approached him, I tried to look him in the eye but when his brown eyes met mine I dropped my gaze. Apparently, his father had already told him about the plans because, before I could say anything, he whispered "I know."
"I'm sorry."
"There's nothing to be sorry about. You were forced to make a decision. It was either me or Jason, who already has a girlfriend. I understand your decision as I have also been forced to accept." He spat out, forced to accept. I guessed his father had really pressured and forced him into this.
I sighed, relieved that he understood. "We need to talk this out. My cabin tonight?"
"Alright," He started to twist his skull ring.
"I'm sorry that it had to be you, Nico." It felt weird saying that, but I did. Nico and certainly nobody else wants to be forced into a relationship that fast.
He let out a small sigh. "Trust me, it's perfectly fine.” He looked me in the eyes with his dark, mysterious brown eyes. “I understand completely."
