Just the Beginning

Chapter 2
Sadie’s P.O.V

I jumped out of bed and put on clothes. When I opened the door Carter was there. He looked like he was going to knock and tried to hide it.

“Hey brother, waiting for me.”

“No, what are you doing.”

“Well right now I am talking to you.” He glared at me. “ I am guessing you got something from Percy so now I am suggesting that we go figure out what the problem is.”

“Ya” he muttered still glaring. By ridding Freak we get to Long Island quickly. There are a lot of monsters that I don’t know but I assume are greek. There wasn’t anything that looked like a reason to urgently need us.

I looked at the people in orange shirts. There seemed to be a lot of them, and they were fighting pretty good to. I didn’t see Annabeth though. “Should we..” Carter stopped knowing him it was hard to get him to shut up and not many things did. I followed his gaze.

In front of me there was a lot of monsters that looked greek. By a lot I mean 200-500 monsters. Of course there looked to be just as many people in orange tee shirts fighting them. I keep following his gaze to find what looked like a crocodile and scorpion fighting 6 kids.

There was Annabeth, what I think is Percy, a brown hair girl who was shooting them with fruit, a guy on fire, a elephant who was now a bird, a girl on a really fast horse, and a guy flying?

The monster was egyptian obviously. The greeks were doing a good job, but were only confusing them. “We should help them.”I said

“Ya. Lets go.” We charged in to join the fight.
