Not this again (On Break)

The walk back to the Argo II was surprisingly similar to trudging through the depths of Tartarus. Just the thought of continuing without Leo brought a tear to my eye, and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who felt this way. Calypso seemed to be taking it the hardest. Which is perfectly understandable.
Leo was her rescue rear and the love of her life. He had saved her from the cursed island and they were going to grow old together. Now, not long after her rescue, Leo dies.
As we neared the floating warship, Annabeth stops me. "Percy don't you ever die on me." She cries into my shoulder. "Deal, but only if you don't die on me!" I happily exclaim trying to up her spirits. Out of nowhere she pulls me into a kiss. I could feel her tears start to run onto my face but I didn't mind. After about thirty seconds, she pulls away and I grab her hand we walk to the ship heartbroken but happy because we have each other.
As I approach the rope ladder, I see a bolt of lightning strike the deck of the ship. To my surprise, there is no apparent damage. I start up the ladder expecting to see a fire or Zeus himself here to kill us.
When I reach top rung I peek up to see a pair of legs. "Great, Zeus really is here." I think to my self. Then I look up expecting to see and angry god but no. I see an unusually familiar face. One with shaggy but somehow groomed bangs, piercing blue eyes, and a staple shaped scar on the upper lip. I say down to piper who is directly below me "You might want sit this one out.". I'm immediately stopped by an irritated glare. "Ok but don't say I didn't warn you" I remark.
