PERCABETH story

piper and I were on cabin inspection duty.most nights I stayed in Percy's cabin but I still lived in the Athena cabin. The last few nights I stayed in the Athena cabin trying to train my mind. I mean my mind can't I choose what I wanted it to think? The answer was no but regardless I still tried my best.
pipers words jarred me out of my thoughts and back into realality.
"Okay. So, up next Poseidon cabin." Piper said as we walked up to cabin three. We walked in and found it unusually tidey, which was odd. I looked at piper she seemed to be thinking the same thing. I still found it hard at how close in thoughts and as friends we've become. We could know what each other were thinking without saying a word. I loved it.
I went to the bed and lifted up the pilliow sure to find dirty clothes or something. Piper was right next to me now. Nothing. But there was a small dark blue box. Piper picked it up curiously. She lifted up the lid and screamed. Not in terror though.
Then I screamed too. Not in terror. In pure delight.
"Oh. My. Gods. Annabeth." Piper exclaimed.
What was inside the box was surely the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Piper was grinning like crazy and I was too. I don't know how long we stood there smiling at the tiny dark blue box.
I looked out his window. There was someone coming down half-blood hill.
"Piper!" I exclaimed she saw and stuffed the box under the pillow.
"Just act like we just got in here and no smiling or anything!" I said frantically and we moved away from the bed as quickly as possible as if it were a bomb about to explode. As if on cue percy was at the door.
"Hello piper. Hey wise girl." He said giving me a lopsided grin.
"Hey" piper and I said at the same time and we each have a look at each other like 'you just ruined our cover!'
"So? What I'd get? Not bad, huh?" Percy said.
"Not bad at all seaweed brain. Why so clean?" I responded.
He just shrugged in reply.
"Well. Did I tell you tysons coming from the forges tomorrow? I guess for once I didn't want him to come and be cleaning after me...Again." He said still smiling.
"Why didn't you tell me seaweed brain!" I exclaimed. I couldn't even remember the last time I saw Tyson. I'm so happy he was coming.
"Is Ella coming too?" Piper asked. She had been so quite I had forgotten she was there.
"yeah she is." Percy said.
"Well anyways. Annabeth," Percy walked up to me and took both my hands," I'm forcing you to dinner tonight. No decline. Nice night out in the city." He said and piper took a very noticeable sharp intake of breath.
"Uh... Piper are you okay?" Percy asked.
"What? Oh...yeah! Sorry it was nothing." She said smiling. I suddenly believed her. She did that for no reason and I knew then that she was charmspeaking percy.
"Uh okay" Percy said.
" well anyways seaweed brain. Of course. What time?"I asked.
"6?" Percy asked and I nodded in response.
"Well we outta go! See ya Percy!"piper said and grabbed me by the wrist and dragged me out of the cabin. She didn't stop until we were at Zeus's fist and she made sure no one was there.
"Oh my gods! Annabeth! Tonight! Tonight is when!" I could tell that she was trying to be vague in case anyone heard us. I smiled. Maybe she was right! Piper's eyes got wide.
"Annabeth, you have to let me help you get ready for tonight!" Piper exclaimed.
I laughed,"piper your inner Aphrodite is showing! But yes, please." I said. and wth that we headed back towards the Aphrodite and Athena cabin totally forgetting about the rest of the cabin inspections.
