The Ancients Arise
Really Weird Explanations
"What the hell is a demigod?" I asked, as we sat down on the grass outside the TARDIS, which Annabeth couldn't stop looking at. "Like, I know what they were in ancient times, but is there any difference?"
"No." said Percy, who was staring at Annabeth who was still staring at the TARDIS.
"We're still children of the gods-"
"And goddesses!" Annabeth interrupted.
"Yeah, anyway, we still train with Chiron, we still go on quests, it's all the same."
"Well, now we go to camps!" Hazel suggested.
"CAMP?!"
The demigods looked at each other. Then me. Then they got up.
"Well?" asked Annabeth. "Hurry up!"
As we emerged from the thick underbrush, I saw it all. The nymphs, the satyrs, the demigods doing any number of things. A home.
"Chiron!" Annabeth yelled as she walked us up to a large blue house. A man in a frayed tweed jacket sitting in a wheelchair was playing poker with a snively looking man wearing a loud purple and green flower print shirts and matching shorts. "This is the Doctor!" she said excitedly.
Chiron looked up at me. "Hmm, so this is the man Annabeth is holed up in her cabin watching on TV."
"Um, I suppose."
"Well, we welcome you! Anyone over five centuries old has to fit in here!"
I honestly didn't get why they were being so nice to me. But I figured I should accept their hospitality while I could.
Notes
Sorry it's a bit short, it's past eleven here and I was tired in the first place!
