Leo's P.O.V
I need another award, maybe an award for being kicked out of 6 orphanages within a month, go me! Now, no orphanages will accept me because they are scared of me. The only place that would accept me was Wilderness Boarding School, which I believe was where Piper McLean was, right? I got packing and picked up the only picture that survived the fire. This picture was taken when I won first prize in robotics, my mom was so proud of me that day. No, I wasn't going to cry over a picture now, get it together Leo! I finally packed all my things including my hammer and screwdriver that I always kept with me. I waited outside of the last orphanage that I was ever going to go to. I saw a taxi driving my way so I waved my hands frantically to get its attention and surprisingly this taxi driver gave me a ride for free. When I got in the taxi I became face to face with Hephaestus.
"Hello son" He said trying to keep it short and simple.
"Hi dad" I replied
"One day Leo you will have family one day, just keep on hoping don't lose it" he said calmly.
"Ok, dad do you know how my mom is?" I asked wondering if the underworld was actually real or not.
"She's doing fine. But she misses you, alot." Hephaestus said sadly.
I didn't really know what to say with my dad, it was awkward seeing your godly parent never help you but then BAM! they appear at weird times.
My dad stopped the car and got out my luggage. He awkwardly said bye and wished me luck.
The taxi drove off leaving me in the dust.

Piper's P.O.V
The new kid was here, his name was Leo and had been kicked out of 6 orphanages in a month. That's an amazing defeat right there and I automatically wanted to be his friend. The past couple of days have been normal, well as normal as life could get at this school. I was told that I had to guide the new kid through the school and I was excited when I heard I got to miss morning classes in order to help him. I looked out the window and saw him, he had brown curly hair, a white T-shirt and brown trousers. When I got up close however, I saw he had elf-ish looking ears, freckles, and expression looked as if he was tired of moving. I would be too if I were kicked out of 6 orphanages.
"Hi, I'm Piper McLean, nice to meet you," I said putting on a smile.
"Hi... I'm Leo Valdez and... you might not want to be near me." Leo said awkwardly.
"It's ok I know what your going through, sometimes I couldn't control my charmspeak but now I can, maybe I can help you with your fire powers." I said
"um... ok... well uh... maybe I should unpack? I don't know Piper I'm a big mess these days its so... miserable." Leo said miserably.
"Yes, sure let me show you your room," I replied happily.
We both walked in together in Wilderness boarding school and maybe Leo Valdez was like me.

filler? I think so... next chapter might suck too.... well idk but i'm addicted to writing fan-fiction so i'm not stopping!
