Luke's P.O.V
I sat in front of Thalia's tree wondering if I should've died for her. She was the one I loved and I, out of all people, let her down that day. But now, I was going to avenge her, Kronos said I could. He said that none of the gods helped her which was true but was I ready to turn my back on my friends? No, I couldn't leave Annabeth, Thalia wouldn't want that. But on the other hand... Ugh! stop thinking so much! I got so frustrated I left, but not before paying my respects to Thalia.

Annabeth's P.O.V
Luke was being weird these days, sometimes he would stare off into space during training, dinner,campfire time, etc. He never did that, I know very well something's on his mind but I don't know what. Lately, he's been hanging around Thalia's tree around 3 times per day. I missed Thalia even though I barely knew her, she had saved my life. But none of these things explain what was wrong with Luke. I didn't want to lose Luke, he was one of my only friends that meant so much to me, he was almost like an older brother. Maybe I can talk to Luke later to see whats wrong. Maybe I should go talk to Grover about Luke, wait, never mind I remembered he was bringing back a new kid soon. I should probably find Luke now, maybe hes at Thalia's tree.

Clarisse's P.O.V
Today, I completely owned Luke Castellan, but now there isn't much of a challenge anymore. Training is boring when no one is as good as you, I kinda wish Luke would focus but I guess there's something on his mind I don't know about. But there are plently of other kids to beat up so I guess I'm okay for now. But I still need competition.
