I told Annabeth we couldn't take the plane, car, or even a boat because I couldn't last 20 minutes in any of them. I get travel sickness very easily, so we had to walk the long path. I survived the car ride to the end of New York, Annabeth insisted on one car ride. I threw up after we got off though. We arrived in a state called Pennsylvania which sadly, didn't have alot of pencils. Annabeth and I took turns when sleeping. I would probably take first shift then pass out in the tent right after. During the day, we ate breakfast and walked till Afternoon, where we would have lunch. We would walk until 3-4pm to take a break then start walking again. It was around 7 when we usually set up camp and eat dinner. Then we'd go to sleep or our shift. I believe it was day 5 when Nico Iris messaged me that he might not be there when we arrive, he gave us warning that Octavian, the post-praetor might call the army on us. Annabeth suggested that we camp outside of their borders but I disagreed. Even if Octavian hated us, I'd rather be under his control than to be stuck fighting off monsters that come our way.

It was when we were in Indiana that we came across a monster. Annabeth said it was a Hyperborean Giant which were gullible giants from the north that were gullible to join Kronos and his uprising. I slashed my sword at him, and Annabeth took the other side and climbed up his leg. I kept him distracted, taunting him
"You want me for dinner? I'll make a nice demigod dinner,"I said
"Hmmm Demigod for dinner!" The giant replied
I threw a few more taunts and swings but I was only doing it to keep him distracted. I didn't know it was so gullible. Annabeth was on his head preparing to strike. I lunged at him fooling him that I was going to get captured and die. But instead Annabeth stabbed him in the eye, the the other eye. Needless to say, it was pretty horrific. Blood came gushing out, and it was blue! It had enough bloodloss that it died and it turned into gold dust. Annabeth and I high-fived each other and decided to camp for the night, since that fight drained the energy from ]our bones

good? I think it is... Well first giant encounter on their way to California! Next is Jeyna and Nico I think... I'm not even keeping track anymore :P
