Tears and Flowers
Camp
This was it. We were about to cross the border to Camp.
Let's just say...... I hate wild Cyclopes.
Just as I ran across the border, though, I felt a pain starting towards the middle of my head and moving back. One of the monsters had scratched down my head. I could feel blood pooling on my head, and when I touched it, my hand came back bloody and covered in hair. Then, well.... I sorta kinda passed out.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I came to, I could hardly keep my eyes open, as there were bright lights in my face. After I adjusted to the hospital-type lighting, I could see three or four or five people standing above me.
"Is she ok?" said a very Piper voice.
"I hope. That was a pretty bad gash." Must've been Percy.
"I've seen way too many injuries lately" said one figure that sounded like Annabeth, shaking her head.
"I think she's waking!" said Jason. Yeah, it was Jason.
"Back away!" said who I assumed was Will, and I had been told about, in case I ended up in the infirmary, which freaked me out at the time. The fact that I could end up in the infirmary so quickly, not Will.
The blond doctor propped me up, and gave me some nectar that tasted like brownies.
He handed me a mirror, and I gasped in an odd sort of horror. There was a bandage on my head............... and my hair went down past my waist.
"Um, the Cyclops took off most of your hair, and I wanted to grow it back.... and as you can see, I grew back a bit much. The upside is, you'll always have great hair, the downside is, whenever you cut it, it will just grow back more, but if you don't cut it, it will stay that length."
"And you know this much because?!"
Will shrugged.
Ugh. Doctors.
Notes
Sorry this took so long to update! I now have three novels a set of short stories and my four fanfictions to write, and I have three or four songs in band, one or two in advanced band, and two for the OS. That stands for the orchestra situation. The orchestra that my friend is in (string instruments as opposed to everything else in band) has two songs with percussion parts, and my friend recommended me. And in most of my songs, I have two or three percussion parts, because there are many instruments. I just realized how long this is.
Peace, love, and Nico di Angelo
