There are so many things I want to tell you,
So many things I wish you knew
About me,
But how to make you see?
I’m not the person that you believe me to be.
I’m so much more
‘cause at my core
is a girl who’s broken
easily outspoken
So many things you don’t know
‘cause everything you see is just a show
that I put on to hide
what’s really inside.
I wish I could show you
who
I really am,
but even that would be a scam
for I myself don’t know
because all I’ve ever done was put on this show.
I’ve lied to me, I’ve lied to you
The girl you once thought you knew
is not who she was
‘cause
for so long she didn’t take off the mask
(it was a very difficult task),
but it doesn’t matter now ‘cause
I’m taking off the mask that was
my life
I’m trying to free myself from this strife
