Unconditional
She thought he would leave
Leaving her alone to grieve
She believed that for quite a spell
It was then that she fell
And she was caught
By the boy who she had thought
Would leave
And she came to believe
that he would stay
And would not go away
“Unconditional,” he whispered in her ear.
“Forever I will love you and stay right here.
I will be here forever
And nothing can sever
You from me
Forever we’ll be
Together.
And we can weather
Anything together
With a love that is
Unconditional.”
