Stay
She looks into his eyes
As all the lies
She’s believed for so long.
Those ‘facts’ that were wrong
Melt away
And he steps in to save the day
The love was arranged,
but those feelings changed
When they met
She began to regret
All those things that she felt
And her heart started to melt
At his touch
She realized then it had been too much
To give up love completely
So she tried to love him discreetly
But that all failed
When he prevailed
To stay
And not to stray
From her side
Tempted and tried
He chose to stay
And never to say
Goodbye
Her gray sky
Became bright blue
An amazing hue.
And all because he stayed
All because he stayed
