Chapter 10
Chapter 10 [Leo's POV]
Okay so this how it started. The year-round campers were just sitting at the pavilion eating a nice and peaceful lunch with chicken nuggets- Yum- when of course something has to go wrong.
THUMP! THUMP!
Instinctively, the campers all look to the Hermes cabin.
Hey I may have not been here long but I know who to blame if something goes wrong.
But the Hermes cabin isn't doing anything and look just as surprised as the rest of us.
I hear one of the Aphrodite kids gasp.
"The boarder!" the say. we all turn our heads.
A bronze bull is banging against the boarder.
"Seriously?! This one again?!" Connor Stoll complains
"I know right, can't we have a break?" Travis says.
I glare at them,"Let's go!"
I start running no weapon in my hands except, well my hands.
i run up to it. I'm about ten feet away when it does something I'm not prepared for.
I freaking shoots fire at me!
It looks at me confused.
"Yeah that's right bull. Nice try." I say to it. thinking i was all cool i was caught up in the moment.
It ran forward and wacked me with one of its horns knocking me to the side.
Now, its standing over me, the rest of the campers still running up the hill.
The bull opens its mouth to blow but I feel something fly over my head. It expands over my head, banishing my thought of it being an arrow. it skidded over my head and I caught a glimpse of a three foot long Greek sword.
The bull looked like it was gagging and slumped down in a heap and slowly started turning to dust and spreading apart.
"Miss us while you were dead, Valdez?" said an angry voice.
"Oh hey, Percy. about that-" I started.
"Leo?! Is that you?! Oh my gods Leo!" Annabeth came up to me and pulled me off the ground and hugged me.
"Why didn't you iris-message us?! How are you alive? Where have you been?!"
"Jeez, slow it Annie."
"What happened?" Annabeth said now facing Percy.
"I saved his butt in the first two seconds I knew he was alive."
"I would've survived." I say
"Yeah sure Valdez." He says sarcastically. Then he smiles. But something occurs to me. Calypso.
