Chapter 9
Chapter 9 [Annabeth's POV]
Percy told me about what happened with him and Thalia and I got to admit it hurt. But I couldn't let that get to me. Now it was Wednesday, two days later since percy told me, and I was still wondering if I should talk to Thalia. Thalia was never one to talk. I on the other hand am the exact opposite. Most of the time. Some things I just can't. Just cant talk about.
I was jerked to reality when the bell for lunch rang. The three of us headed out to our normal table and sat down.
I pulled at this salad thing with olives on top. I've never had it before but Sally recommended it so I gave it a try. I speared a olive with my plastic fork. I looked at the olive on my fork and just started sprewing facts.
"In Greece, six gallons of olive oil are consumed each year per person. And 90% of olives are used to make olive oil and only 10% are used as table olives. And the olive branch is one of Athena's sacred symbols." I say the last fact with pride.
Percy smiles,"Ah. I haven't seen this version of wise girl in a LONG time just the one spewing out facts form looking at her lunch."
I smile shyly.
Before I know it the bell is ringing and I half to go to seventh period architecture.
When I came into the class the teacher made me take a pre-assement on what I knew. I got a 100.
She asked me if I worked on architecture professionally.
She was surorised when I said that I draw blueprints for this series of building that are to be edited. She said that during most class periods I could work on that but of course I didn't tell her that I was actually building temples for the Ancient Greek gods. Minor details.
So today I got time to complete a temple for Apollo.
what seemed like forever, the dismissal bell rang.

Again sorry for the short chapters but I just can't wait to be back in the comfort of my home, er, I mean, camp half-blood.
