Chapter 3
Chapter 3 [Annabeth's POV]
They rest of the day passed by in a blur. After school Thalia and I went to her place with percy telling he'd pick us up there at eight.
I did have on a simple shirt with pants but NOOO I wasn't allowed to wear that to a high school party.
"Seriously Annabeth? That's what you're going to wear. No way." Thalia said. She tossed a pair of shorts on the bed and a grey California T-shirt with a low circular neck line. I looked at her.
"What? It's a high school party! Oh and here wear these." They were combat boots.
"Thalia even though their called combat boots their really not good for that purpose. What if a monster attacks? I won't be able to run!" I reason but Thalia just waved her hand dismissively. Reluctantly, I pulled on the shorts, T-shirt, and boots.
Thalia once again tossed stuff on the bed. I raised an eyebrow at her.
"Makeup." She explained.
"Oh no you don't! You will not get me to put that on!" I say.
"Oh yes I will."
"Oh yeah and how's that?"
Thalia wiggles her fingers at me, sparks zapping on the tips of her fingers.
"You wouldn't."
"Yes I would." Thalia states and I know it's true.
"Ugh! No!" She comes closer. She picks up the mascara
"Only a little." She pouts.
She zaps me.
"Di immortales Thalia!" I say.
"We an do this the hard way or the easy way. I prefer the hard way but I think you'll like the easy way.
"Just get it this over with." I say.
"Jeez Annie. No need for anger." Thalia says. I glare at her.
She applies mascara, and eyeshadow, and she applied a neutral color of lip gloss. It's a very natural look. I brush out my hair and lace up the combat boots. Thalia is in black skinny jeans and a long black T-shirt that are really low by the armpits and it has some bands logo on it. She laces up her knee high boots and reapplies her eye liner. She finished just as we heard a honk outside the house.
I looked at the clock and it said eight. Perfect timing seaweed brain.
"Come on Thalia." We walked out of her house. Thalia not bothering to lock the door. I climb into the passenger seat and Thalia in the back.
I see percy smirk.
"Not one work kelp head. Not one word." I say. Him and Thalia burst up laughing.
"Whatever lets just go." I say.
Percy pulls out of the street and down the road.
After about 20 minutes I see we're nearing a beach.
"Where does this jasmine live? In fact who is this jasmine? You do know we have homework right?" I question.
"North beach. Snobby popular girl who won't leave me alone and is best friends with Jennifer. The girl Ryan wants to ask out tonight. And yes I realize we have homework. I basically already finished. Well except for math." He answers.
Finally we get on a beach road and head down in for a while. When we reach the end there is one lone house that stands three stories tall.
"Hey I just realized something." I state.
"What else is new wise girl?" He says in response.
"How did you know where this jasmine lives without an address?" I ask. He rolls his eyes.
"I tend to have to be a wingman a lot where I have to drive home my drunk friends." He shakes his head disapprovingly. "Come on let's go" he says getting out of the car. Thalia and I follow after.
"I'm out. See ya guys later." Thalia says and walks off. Percy chuckles and takes my hand. We walk hand in hand to the front door when we get in the music is loud and it looks like there are a bunch of drunk kids.
"I hate jasmine's parties." Percy mumbles which can barely be heard over the music.
"WHOOOOOOO HOOOOOO YEAH!" We hear. I can hear percy cuss in Ancient Greek.
"I'll be right back. That sounds like Ryan." He says and kisses me on the cheek. So now I'm alone in the middle of a party with a bunch of drunk kids. Great.

I want something dramatic now. Whatcha think? Maybe Thalia beating a guy up? HeHe. Ah Thalia. Or I can focus on Percabeth dramatic? Oo I got it! But frick I need a rising action. Grrr. That means a bunch of unneeded scenes. Ugh okay. The cons of being a fanfic author.
