Chapter 2 [Percy's POV]
We walked down to the gym and locker rooms and took our separate ways.
When I finished getting dressed I started to walk out to meet the girls.
I suddenly got pushed against the wall.
"Jackson." The person acknowledged me.
I pushed his shoulders and he stumbled back.
"Clayson." I said and walked off with Clayson yelling at me in the background. I sat down on the inside bleachers waiting for the girls. Finally they came.
"Thank goodness we get to where our own pe clothes." Thalia sighed in relief. I chuckled.
"Hey jackson!" I heard behind me.
"Why does everyone call you by your last name like what the heck?!" Thalia said.
"You ask them." I turned to see Ryan walking towards me.
"Hey Ryan." I said. Ryan was a tall kid and he had brown hair and blue eyes. He was also on the swim team with me.
"You coming to tonight's party?" He asked.
"Who's?"
"Jasmine's" he responded.
"Really? You want me to go to a party of jasmine's?"
"Please for me. I'm going to ask out Jennifer there and I need my wingman!"
"How am I going to be your wingman? Oh you mean the person who's going to drive you home once you get drunk?" It was probably true. Ryan just waved his hand dismissing the thought.
"Same same."
I rolled my eyes.
"I was actually planning on spending time with my friends." I said. Ryan put a hand on his chest and pretended to be hurt.
"We are your friends!" He reasoned. I rolled my eyes.
"Plus they can come assuming you mean the pretty ladies behind you." He said. Normally I would've hit someone if they said that but I knew Ryan didn't mean it as the typical high school boy. I rolled my eyes.
"Ryan, Thalia-my cousin and friend.
Thalia, Ryan- fellow swim team member. Ryan, Annabeth- my girlfriend till apparently up to this point lived in San Francisco. Annabeth, Ryan." I introduced.
"Ah so the fake girlfriend lives. We were all about just thought you were lying." Ryan said. I rolled my eyes and I saw Annabeth blush.
"Yes. She is very real as I have said."
"Do-" he stopped and hesitated. "Never mind." He said. I looked at him and hoped he knew what I meant 'tell you later'. He nodded.
"Okay then. Nice meeting you guys." He walked off.
"What was that last part about?" Thalia asked.
"Nothing." Annabeth looked at me trying to see if I was lying.
"Gather round Cupcakes!" I heard the gym teacher yell.
"Let's go." I say and we start heading towards the circle forming in the middle of the group.
I asked Coach Hedge to do 'sword fighting' for a activity.
Small piece of information. Hedge is a satyr. I found this out by remembering the letters one day before the second Titan war. And whenever I heard a sound that was suspicious he would give me a knowing look and let me walk out of class. Finally, I just confronted him and asked,"Saytr?"
And he asked,"Child of the big three?" We both just nodded and went back to class. We came closer and told me none of the other teachers he knew so far knew and he hasn't meet any demigod kids but that we should both keep a look out. I agreed.
"Okay Cupcakes. For this section we'll be breaking off into groups of non-normal activities for gym. Your choices are: sword fighting, fencing, kickboxing, and archery." He said
"Yes!" Thalia said next to me.
"Okay. Break off into your sections." Half the class did kickboxing. Six did fencing. About the same did archery. And the rest did sword fighting.
Annabeth and I went to sword fighting and Thalia went to archery. She had this look in her eyes that made me want to scream drop and roll to all the guys in class.
"Come get your equipment Cupcakes!"
I went up to coach hedge.
"Annabeth daughter of Athena and Thalia daughter of Zeus, lieutenant of Artemis and the hunters." I whispered. He nodded.
"Annabeth, Thalia! Report!" He soda and they came walking over.
"Thalia since of the hunt and all that go ahead and use your own bow for archery just try not to kill any of my cupcake boys. Annabeth you can use yours as well. And percy go ahead and use that pen of yours. Spread out!" I nodded and walked off with Annabeth uncapping my pen.
"Shall we?" I said with a three foot long greek sword in my hands.
"Only if your willing to get beat." She smirks.
"Yeah okay. You believe that." I say.
She charges. I sidestep and dodge the blade that quickly changed directions toward me with my sword. We on for awhile no one gaining an advantage. Finally I saw a flaw that was going to happen. I twisted her blade and it ended up in my hand her own dagger against her throat and mine behind her neck.
"Nice try wise girl." I whispered in her ear.
I realized people had been watching us and I lowered both swords.
"Your head is filled with kelp." She said.
"Yeah okay." I said chuckling.
She held out her hand for her dagger.
I raised an eyebrow.
"Why should I give it to you. Never let your opponent distract you right?"
"Hey jackson! Where'd you learn all that?! That little camp you go to?" I heard Clayson say.
"Actually yes. You believe you can do better?"
"You know it jackson!"
"Then come on up!" I say.
I look at coach hedge and he's grinning.
Clayson charged I side stepped.He charged yet again and I ducked and rolled my sword met his and I turned and twisted it dislodging his sword sending it skittering across the gym floor 20 feet behind him.
I pushed the tip of my sword to neck.
"I win. In less than a minute I might add." I say smirking.
"Nice try Clayson."
The bell rang after that and once again the the girls and I go our separate ways.
"Man I love gym!" Thalia says when we meet up.
"There was this awesome girl she's amazing at archery and right now she hates guys because one broke up with her. And not to mention all the guys try to kill each other!" I chuckle. I lead them to an area out of the way of the high schoolers where there is a single bench in a grass area.
"You guys want to go to that party?" Thalia says straightening a dollar bill on the edge of the table.
"I don't know. I don't want to have to drive a drunk Ryan home."
"Oh come on! We've been two freaking wars and probably none of us have ever been to a high school party! I mean for the love of Zeus don't we get to be normal for once? Either way I'm going and so are you guys." She says.
"Okay then." I say.
"I'm going to go buy something at the snack cart. I'll be back."
I turn to Annabeth.
"You never told me how you got here. Not that I'm complaining or anything...just curious." I say. She laughs. I love her laugh.
"I asked Chiron to send me to school. And I'm here."
"You asked him to go to Goode." I say looking at her.
"It's so good to see you in person. Iris-messaging doesn't work." I say. She nods.
"And the nightmares?" I ask. Ever since Tartarus she's had nightmares. Well most than normal. They've been getting better but I'm starting to be afraid that it's getting worse.
She shrugs indifferently. I roll my eyes at her taking her hand.
"I love you wise girl." I say to her.
"I love you too seaweed brain." I kiss her then. It feels so good to kiss her. Shocks go through my body. But then I feel something. Actual shocks. Electric shocks.
"Ow!" I say pulling away from Annabeth to look at Thalia.
"What was that for?!" I say rubbing my arm.
She shrugs indifferently. I've never tried to shock two people at the same time through one person I decided to try.
I roll my eyes at her. Annabeth is laughing.
"Well to conclude your experiment. I didn't feel anything." She says.
"Whatsoever?" Thalia asked.
Annabeth shook her head. "Nope."
"Ugh whatever. Let's get going I say." And we start heading to science with Mr. Todd.

Okay in the first chapter I planned on it being just after the first war or second titan war whatever but I already have that. . . I think, i've written so many I dont even know anymore.
So in short any ideas of how i can make this develop better send them over!
