Chapter 5 [Percy's POV]
"Seriously?" I ask her.
"What?" Annabeth responds.
"You've never had cookie dough."
"So?"
Thalia puts a hand to her chest in an over dramatic way.
"That's it. We're getting you cookie dough." I say.
"Why?" Annabeth says.
'I can't believe you've never had cookie dough." I say ignoring her question.
"Well, between running away from home, and two wars where we stood no chance, I didn't really get a chance."
"No excuses!" Thalia says."I can't believe Luke-" her voice caught,"and I never gave you cookie dough." she turned her face to the side like she wish she would punch herself and I'm pretty sure it wasn't for not giving Annabeth cookie dough.
I make a sudden turn after realizing I was about to miss my turn.
"Percy!" Annabeth scolds.
"Sorry." although I don't sound very sorry.
"I'm gonna run in just, never mind, do whatever you want with the radio." I saw getting out of the blue Prius with a dent in the hood that I inherited from Paul.
I make my way quickly through the aisles. I pick up two rolls of cookie dough and head to check-out. When I get back to my car I hear music blasting and shake my head knowing it was Thalia's doing.
When I get back in the car turn down the volume-by a lot.
"Got the cookie dough." I state.
"Hello Captain Obvious." Thalia says back. I glare at her.
"Now shh my favorite part is coming up." I shake my head.
The song was that new one by fall out boy. Centuries?
What? I still listen to music.
"My shadow's over you. Cuz' I am the opposite of Amnesia."Thalia sings.
I can't help but laugh. It's like every demigod's dream to be 'remembered for centuries' and the opposite of Amnesia? I just can't help it. I've been through amnesia and yes probably among mortals they'll be remembered but it just seems so odd. The mortals don't even know. I can see Annabeth with a smirk on her face and I know she's thinking the same.
"Kelp head, how are we supposed to cut the cookie dough?" Thalia says.
"Well pinecone face, see I'll just take out my sword like so and uncap it and then wa-la."
"Maybe seaweed brain's head isn't completely filled with seaweed." Annabeth says. I make a face at her.
"Eat." I command her holding out a piece of cookie dough to her.
She looks from me to Thalia.
"Fine." taking the cookie dough from me she takes a bite.
"Well?" Thalia prompts.
"ITs good." She responds.
"See?" I say.
"Oh shut up, seaweed brain." she says.
We split the rest of the two packs of cookie dough, stuffed full by the end.
"I'm tired.Lets go." I state. They nod in agreement.

Okay I had another idea for this chapter which is why I took so long but I decided to save it for the next chapter because I thought this was cute as it is.
