"Daddy daddy daddy"
"What is it?
" are we there yet?"
"Not yet"
We had been driving for hours, with Zoe asking are we there yet, every 5 seconds. Annabeth's dad has never met the kids so we decided to go down there and spend Christmas with them.
"You got you parents and your brothers presents, right"I ask
" yes, also sent presents to your parents, Chiron, all of camp half blood, the gods, and I bought presents for the kids." Annabeth said
" okay" I was glad she got presents for everyone, but I hope she didn't spend too much. I just need to find the perfect present for Annabeth.

Annabeth

When we get to my dads house, the kids jump out of the car and run to the door. We didn't tell my dad we were coming,we wanted to surprise them. So when my stepmom opens the door and the kids run inside, she was confused but when she saw me she relaxed. I leave Percy to get the bags and go inside. Bobby and Mathew were really surprised to see me.
"Annabeth what are you doing here?"
" I came to visit and spend Christmas with you guys."
"Who were those kids that ran in here and ate my cookies?"
"Those are my kids"
" you have kids? You didn't even tell us you got married!"
" I invited you, but you didn't come!"
" oh."
I go into the kitchen to find my dad trying to stop Zoe and Madison from eating all the cookies.
" girls! Those cookies are for Santa. Why don't you go put on your pajamas"
The girls run off, leaving me with my dad.
" so Annabeth, how are you?"
" good, how are you?"
" I'm well, are those your kids?"
" yeah"
" how old are they!"
"4"
"So you had them two years after you got married?"
" how come you didn't come?"
" I didn't think you wanted us there?"
" I invited you!"
"Well..."
Percy came into the kitchen, picked up a cookie and gave me a kiss.
" mr. Chase nice to see you again." Percy said politely
"Who are you?" My father asked
" sir you don't remember me? I'm Percy Jackson, Annabeth's husband."
"I'm sorry, have we met before"
" mr. Chase we met before, when I was 14 Annabeth was kidnapped and some friends and I came to rescue her. you helped us, you flew that airplane."
" oh percy, nice to see you again."
It was really awkward. No one says another word until the twins run in, wearing their matching pink and purple footie pajamas.
"Well girls this is your grandpa" I tell them
" how come we never met grandpa?"
" I don't know, would you like to tell them why dad?" I say glaring at my father.
"Um"
My stepmother comes in and gives the girls a hug.
"Why don't we go get you girls into bed, so santa can come."
The girls run off with my stepmother. We go into the living room and sit on the sofa.
"So Annabeth, why did you come?"
" dad I wanted you to meet your grandkids. And I really wanted to sort out why you didn't come to my wedding, and stopped talking to me."
I sent percy to go get the presents from the car and place them under the tree.
"Well dad?"
" I didn't want to lose you, I was upset I had just gotten you back and was just getting to know you, and then you say your getting married. I was upset. It was bad enough I drove you away when you were seven. I never got to watch you grow up. And I lost you as soon as I got you back."
" oh dad, you wouldn't have lost me."
We decide to call it a night, me and percy take the my old room, Zoe and Madison take Bobby and Mathews room and, my brothers sleep in the basement.
Christmas morning


Percy

It's not even 7 o'clock when the girls run around the house screaming " it's Christmas !" And waking everyone up. We try to go back to sleep, but an hour later we give up.
We head downstairs and find Mathew, Bobby, Madison and Zoe sorting all the presents into piles, so everyone knows what belongs to who. I go and make coffee while Annabeth gets her camera. When Annabeth's parents come downstairs they're shocked, we have pancakes and coffee made. After breakfast we go to open presents. We gave Annabeth's parents a cruise vacation and her brothers magic calculators.
"Um what's this"
" it's a laptop, and a phone."
" this is calculator"
" press the button with a owl on it"
They press the buttons and the calculators grow into cell phones.
" press it again"
They press the button again and the phone grows into a laptop.
"Wow, thanks!"
"We thought you could use it, college is hard."
Then Annabeth gave me her gift. It was a coffee mug. And I went through so much trouble to get her the perfect gift.
Annabeth
It was perfect, I loved it. Percy gave me the most thoughtful gift in the world. It was a locket, but not just any locket, when you opened it the pictures changes to show the faces of all my family and friends, it went from Percy, to the kids, Thalia, my parents and brothers, Luke Reyna, Piper and everyone else.
" I love it" I smile.
Percy hugs me. And we watch as everyone opens up the rest of their presents. Once everyone is done, I grab his hand and stand up.
" we have an announcement to make"
" we do?" Percy asked
" we're having another baby." I announce
"That's Fantastic" my stepmom says
" I get to be a big sister!" Zoe hugs Madison and they dance.
We spend the rest of the holiday, singing songs, laughing, telling stories and being a family.

I love Christmas but right now I just want all this snow to melt!
