The Afterlife

It's been eight months since the War with Gaea. Everything is going smoothly. Annabeth and I are still dating, there hasn't been any dangerous prophecies about us, and we have been all hanging out and helping and Camp Half Blood.
Today was a warm day. Annabeth and I were out for a stroll. I couldn't help noticing her hair was blowing in the wind. She looked so beautiful. She leaned in close to me and squeezed my hand. It felt so reassuring.
"Percy, this is amazing," Annabeth sighs happily.
"I know," I smile. "That's why I brought you out here."
Annabeth laughed. "Oh seaweed brain, make sure you never change," she giggles.
"Oh trust me I won't, wise girl," I leaned in for a little kiss. We continued walking and talking about life. Camp Half Blood was having a prom and we both couldn't wait to go.
"Percy, I'm so happy," Annabeth said breaking silence that had lasted about a minute.
"Oh really? Why?" I asked jokingly.
"Because..., I'm with you seaweed brain!"
"Well of course," I say smiling. Then we kiss. It was so romantic I didn't want to let go. But of course. I didn't notice the steel ball flying through the air. It hit Annabeth and I in the head. I heard Annabeth scream "PERCY!" That's the last thing I heard before I blacked out.


ll Annabeth's POV ll

I woke up tied to a pole, with Percy next to me. "Percy?!" I whispered. "W-where are we?" Of course this had to happen now, right when I thought everything was ok.
"Annabeth...," I heard Percy whisper as he woke up. Then I saw a shadow approaching. Then the shadow walked in. It was... Jason. He didn't look himself. His eyes were blood red and he had scars all over his body.
"Hello Percy,... Annabeth," Ge said deviously.
"Jason?!?! Bro, what are you doing!!" Percy screamed.
"Oh, just getting my revenge," Jason cackled.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" I yell. All of a sudden, Jason starts shaking. His eyes turn normal color again.
"HELP ME!!" He screams. "PLEASE LET ME GO, PLEASE YOU CANT DO THIS!!"
"Oh my gods, Jason, you're not yourself, you're being possessed!" I say. Jason's eyes turn red again.
"You'll never escape me foolish child!" Jason screams, I believe it's the person possessing him talking to Jason. Suddenly the door bursts down and the rest of the seven are standing there.
"OH MY GODS JASON WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Piper screams.
"You can never stop me!" Jason yells. When he said this, his voice cracked a bit. I recognized the voice.
"I-I know who you are!" I say. "Tartarus. LET JASON GO!"
"Never!" Jason takes out two knives. "Say goodbye!"
"NOOO!" Hazel screams.
Jason threw the knives at Percy and I, hitting both of us directly in our hearts.
"Annabeth," I hear Percy struggle. "I love you."
Then in the midst of my pain, I hear Jason say, "NO WHAT HAVE I DONE!!! NOO!" And that's the last thing I heard.
