The Afterlife

I woke with my arms around Annabeth in a dark room. "Where am I?" I thought aloud. I looked down and all my blood was gone. Although, my shirt was ripped where the knife had pierced me. Suddenly, Annabeth woke up.
"PERCY!" She screamed sitting up faster then Leo running to the table when it's Taco Tuesday. (And that's fast) "Percy? W-where are we?" She stumbled as she noticed where we were.
"I don't know. The last thing I remember is...wait...did we..." I was interrupted by Hades as he walked into the room. "Die....?" I finished.
"No, no this can't be..," Annabeth cried. She looked like she was on the verge of tears. I put my arm around her and stood up.
"Hades, my uncle. What's going on?" I asked.
"I'm sorry to say this Percy," Hades started. "But, you and Annabeth have died. I am going to go over both of your lives, even though it's obvious where you two are going." I was astonished. I, Percy Jackson, Hero of Olympus, died? Annabeth started to cry. I held her closer as Hades went over our lives.
I saw myself fighting monsters, saving the world, and putting my life before others. I saw Annabeth doing the same. When she saw herself with Thalia and Luke, she started to cry again. I quickly calmed her down. It pained me to see my wise girl like this. She must have held it in through all those years. Soon enough, Hades finished.
"You two will stay in Elysium together. You may also be reborn if you wish if you do, you will never remember each other." I look at Annabeth and we have a mental conversation. We aren't going to be reborn, not
if that meant we had to forget each other.
"Also, I would like to tell you how you died," Hades started to explain. "It wasn't Jason that killed you. Tartarus had taken over his body. He has wanted revenge on you ever since you beat him. After you both died, Tartarus left Jason's body, but that doesn't mean he's not a threat anymore. He will try to lure you into Tartarus. He will try to tell you that he will let you live. Whatever you do, don't give into him."
Annabeth and I nod. I knew someone had taken over Jason. We couldn't blame him for our deaths. I suddenly felt enraged at Tartarus. For taking over Jason. For killing us. I wanted revenge. But I knew I couldn't do that.
A guard led us to Elysium. As we walked, I got a look at the Fields of Punishment. I silently thanked the gods that I didn't have to go there. Once we were in Elysium, the guard left. Elysium was like a new world. The sky was blue, instead of the murky dark red of the underworld, and the grass was green. There was beautiful lakes and rivers everywhere with shimmering buildings in the background.
"So? Where do we go..?" Annabeth asks.
"I guess we will just walk. They must have a place for us," I say. Annabeth and I walk through Elysium staring at everything. We saw heroes, some of them mortals that were just very kind and did amazing things in their lives, and some were Greek heroes who were legends. Soon I saw where we would stay. There was a building, a little bigger than a cabin, with tiers surrounding it that had water pouring down. The architecture was beautiful. On top of the building, there was an owl with a trident right next to it.
"This must be meant for us," I say smiling for the first time since we got here.
"As long as I'm with you, Seaweed Brain, I'm happy," Annabeth answered. And then, we kissed.
