The Afterlife

"Silena's?!" I heard someone say. I was a girl whose voice I fairly recognized. But that can't be. Nobody knows me here except....

I turn around to see Perseus Jackson and Annabeth Chase. I'm immediately hit with all these different emotions. Guilt, pain, suffering, and wonder.

"Percy? Annabeth? How, how are you...here?" I ask. Percy is giving me a look of surprise and anger. I don't blame him. I am the one who betrayed the camp after all.

"Silena, we...died," Annabeth says. They died? How long have I been gone?

"Silena what's going on?" Charlie said as we walked up to me. He put his arm on my shoulder. Then he noticed Percy and Annabeth.

"Percy? Annabeth?" He asked.

"Beckondorf?" Percy answered confused.

"Ok, I think we need a good explanation about what happened after we've been gone," I suggested. Percy and Annabeth nodded. They told us how they won the war with Kronos, Luke sacrificing himself, Percy going missing and being replaced by three other demigods, Jason, Leo and Piper I think, Percy going to a Roman camp and meeting Hazel and Frank, all about the Romans, the quests with Gaea, the war, Percy and Annabeth falling into Tartarus, defeating Gaea, and how they died.

"Wow," That was all I could say.

"Glad to know we didn't miss much," Charles joked. Percy and Annabeth smiled.

"Yeah, it's been crazy. But, now we're here," Percy said.

"How about you guys come over to our place?" Charlie suggests.

"Sounds great," Annabeth answers. As we walk I think about all that Percy and Annabeth had been through. Jeez, I thought Charlie and I had it rough.

TIME LAPSE

Percy and Annabeth were gonna sleep here for the night. I was gonna bring them some blankets and just when I was about to open the door I heard Percy and Annabeth. I couldn't help eavesdropping. They're in love and it's just the Aphrodite in me.

It sounding like they were both crying. I peeked through the little window on the door and I saw them. They were sitting on the bed hugging each other. Annabeth looked like she had been crying, and Percy had tears in his eyes and a couple doing down his face. Weird, I've never seen either of them like that. I couldn't blame them. They've been through a lot together. I listened in on their conversation.

"Wise girl, it's gonna be okay," I heard Percy say.

"But what if it's not!" Annabeth responds. "Percy, I'm scared, what are we gonna do, stay here for eternity?" Welcome to my world, I thought.

"At least we will be together," Then there was a silence. I opened the door and went in with the blankets. They separted and Annabeth wiped her tears.

"Hey guys, I brought blankets," I said pretending I didn't hear what they said.

"Thanks Silena, your very kind," Percy responded. I then left and went to go to bed.

TIME LAPSE

ll Annabeth's POV ll

After I finally fell asleep, I had a horrible dream. I was walking around Elysium alone, without Percy. As I stood at the border and stared at the underworld. Suddenly, I heard a voice.

"Join me Annabeth," The voice hissed. "I'll take care of you, I will set you free, back to the world." Oh my gods. It was Tartarus.

"Why would I ever join you!" I yelled back. "You murdered Percy and I!"

He laughed. It sounded so...evil. "You really think that sea scum cares about you?!" He spat at me. "He's using you!"

No..., PERCY WOULD NEVER DO THAT I SCREAMED!" Then I felt someone grab my wrist. It was Percy. He pulled me through the underworld and threw me down into Tartarus. "Percy, No!" I yelled.

He just laughed. "See us never, Annabeth he cackled!" Then I blacked out.

"Annabeth?! Annabeth!" It was Percy's voice. He was shaking me. I was back in the bedroom at Silena and Charle's place. I started to cry. "Hey, Wise girl, what happened?"

"It was a nightmare," I said. "Tartarus tried to lure me to him and then told me you were using me. Then you took my wrist and threw me into Tartarus.

Percy's face had a horrified expression. "Annabeth, you know I would never do that to you. It was only a nightmare. I love you and I will always be here for you." He really cared.

We hugged and after a little I stopped crying. This is gonna take some getting used to.
