The Afterlife
Stuck here forever
We walked through Camp Half Blood searching for Ella. I grasped Hazel's hand. I could still faintly see tear stains on her cheeks. Everyone looked sort of depressed. But I could see a small glimmer of hope in everyone's eyes. I had hope too. Maybe we could bring Percy and Annabeth back.
"So do you guys have any idea where Ella even is?" I asked.
"I don't know," Jason answered. He turned around and scanned the area. "But, I don't think we have to look much anymore." I turned and saw Ella and Tyson standing by Percy and Annabeth's casket. We all walked over to them.
"Ella, we need your help," Hazel said. They both turned around. Ella had tear stains on her cheeks and Tyson looked sad.
"What is it?" Ella asked.
"There's a new prophecy where we have to make life reform, I guess. We think we need to bring Percy and Annabeth back to life."
"Back to life? Ella knows about that. The book:- Férnontas píso (authors note: the o is supposed to have a line under it. My phone didn't have that option) Healing item of one, Memory from the past. Symbol of the future, blood of the friends. Dash of nectar. Pinch of ambrosia." Ella said.
"Ella? Is that a potion-like cure for death?" I ask.
"Ella read it a long time ago. Book was destroyed after I read. By a tall man."
"That must have been Hades. He doesn't like people cheating death. But, this is a prophecy. There is no messing with prophecies," Hazel states.
"Good point Hazel," Jason answers. "I guess we have to make it. Thank you Ella, you helped a lot."
Ella blushed.
TIME LAPSE
We all sat in bunker nine with the ingredients written down. Leo had an idea and he was just about to explain.
"Ok everyone. Here's my idea. So, we need to make a potion thingy? Let's use a hole in the ground. I saw one near the big house. It's about three feet deep but ten feet wide. It's perfect for making the potion," Leo explained
"Good idea," I answered. "Now we have to think about the ingredients. Does anyone have an idea what healing item of one means?"
"Well, Percy is healed by water," Jason says. "We should start by filling the hole with ocean water."
Everyone nods. I sigh. This is gonna be frustrating
ll Annabeth's POV ll
Percy and I sat at a restaurant in Elysium. This really was underworld paradise. We sat at a table with a white cloth and a romantic candle in the middle. Huh. Even when we were dead we managed to have a good time. He smiled at me.
"What are you smiling at, seaweed brain?" I jokingly ask.
"Oh just you're pretty face," He smiles again.
"Hey your not too shabby yourself," I say. He leans in to kiss me. When we let go I stared at the candle. The fire reminded me of Leo, which reminded me of all my friends. My eyes filled with tears. No, I couldn't think about them. I let a tear fall down my cheek.
"Annabeth..." Percy says as he cups my cheek. "We can't fix this. It's ok to miss them. But we're stuck here forever. One day they will all join us here," He kisses me again. The kiss was wet with our tears.
