Priceless

Nina smiled after he had told her everything.
"That's so romantic! I promise not to tell anyone...not even my sisters. I've never been one for gossip anyways." She pulled a lock of hair behind her ear.
David mumbled a thanks, and started onto the road, thinking one tthing.

"WHY DID I JUST DO THAT?!"

For once, the emptiness of the Selene cabin didn't actually bother him... probably because he had other things on his mind. He had to reasure himself more than once that Nina swore on the river styx before actually being able to fall asleep.
In his dreams, he dreamt of Piper, normal Piper, ski jacket and jeans, in a dark room. She was stuck, because behind her was a blazing fire, and in front of her was nothing but a wall. She was trying despretley to get out, moving things, banging on the walls...but nothing did anything.
"Leo? Leo? Jason? Help!" She tried to shake down whatever was blocking her path, but nothing worked. She stared at the fire blazing up behind her and saw something black on the ground. "Gasoline...who the..." She tried to get the puddle into the flames and away from her...but she only set her foot ablaze.
David woke up, but the sounds of Piper screaming echoed through the small, silver cabin.
This, hopefully, was something that had happened...because if it wasn't...
David shot out of bed and into the open air. Even if he couldn't have Piper, he would want her to be alive.
