The New Addition To The Jackson Family

So at the train station I had to pee. Normal. What wasn’t normal was seeing bleed in my undies when I took them off. I was so unsettled, I didn’t know what to do. Hazel was with me and had a pad in her bag luckily. I put it on and just continued with my day. As soon as we got off the train I told Hazel that I needed to see Will. She understood the emergency. Unfortunately due to a bad game of Capture the Flag last night Will only had room after lunch. So I agreed to take things slow and relax.
I pigged out during lunch. I got two salads, three sandwiches and for dessert a large bowl of vanilla ice cream with mustard and pickles. (GROSS I KNOW!)
After I ate, Will came over to me and asked if I was ready. I nodded and he helped me up.
We walked slowly to the infirmary. We talked about my trip to Camp Jupiter. He talked about the stuff he’s going to be doing to me to check on the children.
Phoebe, one of his sisters was at a desking filing documents.
“Hey, Phoebe! Is anyone in the back room?” Will asked.
“I don’t think so.” She responded not looking up. She was so far into her work she couldn’t stop. Phoebe was blonde and blue eyed. Like all of the Apollo kids. She was wearing light blue scrubs and had one earbud in.
“Thanks! And can you bring the special equipment in?”
She looked up, nodded pulling out her earbud and walked to the storage closet. Will put his hand in the middle of my back and walked me to the back room. The same room I was in the first time. When I was getting an ultrasound with… Percy. He should be here. Though he doesn’t know I’m bleeding. I don’t want to worry him if it’s nothing. But I guess he should still be here.
"Wait, Will? Can you go find Percy? He's probably at the dining pavilion."
"If it makes you feel more comfortable of course. I'll be might back. Just try to relax."
I sat. On the bed and relaxed. Well I tried. Phoebe came in with the equipment a few minutes later. "Hun." She said. "When will said relax. He meant lying down. Please lie down."
I did as she asked. Not having enough energy to protest. I lied on my back, and closer my eyes. Being a child of Athena I always have thoughts in my head. Just random thoughts, like how the new buildings on Olympus are holding quite well and why am I still hungry. I opened my eyes for just a moment and saw something that defies all logic. I saw floating water. That's it! I've lost it! I thought. I sat up, still looking at the magical ball of water. I thought about it for a minute, I couldn't come up with any logical explanation! Then I heard a snicker outside the window. I got up and walked across the room to the window. Before I opened it I grabbed my dagger out of my pocket. I slowly opened the window. When I was fully open I leaned out and yelled, "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE!"
Under the window there are shrubs, hiding in those shrubs was Percy Jackson. "Woah! Annie! Put the dagger away! It's just me."
I only slightly lowered my dagger. "Percy what are you doing in the bushes?"
"Hoping to win you back with my childish antics." He grinned.
"Ugh! Percy!" Why does he have to be so childish! I just glared at him. His grin soon subsided.
“So, can I come in?” He asked with his baby seal eyes.
“Fine.”
“Thank you!” He climbed through the window and fell on the floor. Of course I snickered a bit but hey, it was funny!
Minutes later will came back in. “Annabeth, I couldn't find- Oh he’s right here.” He said. “Alright. let’s get started shall we. First I'm going to do an ultrasound. That should tell you three things. One, how many you have. And two, if they are boys or girls or both. And the third I don’t think I need to explain.”
“Will, before we start I think I should fill Percy in.”
“WHAT!? You didn’t tell him!”
“It’s been a rough couple of days.”
Before Will and I could keep argueing Percy said, “I think I already know.”
“What do you mean?” Will asked.
“Nico came by my table at lunch. He said you had to cancel a special date due to an important work thing with Annabeth. He asked me if Annabeth was feeling okay. I told him you have been a bit off. He thought you might be bleeding.” He looked down. “Are the children alive?” His voice small and sad.
“That’s the other thing I’m here for.” I told him.
“Have- have they kicked at all?”
I looked down. “Not since before we got on the train. Haze gave me a pad for the bleeding. Percy. I’m just as scared as you.”
“Okay, Will can you do your thing now?”“Of course. Now Annabeth lie perfectly still. Can you see the monitor?”
“Yes.”
Will did his thing, soon an image popped up on the screen. Two little balls. Percy sighed with relief. It was just a scare.
“Well you have two healthy babies.” Will said. “One is a-”
He was interrupted by Luke. “Annabeth. Annabeth. ANNABETH!” He said it sleepily like a zombie almost.
“Annie, you have to lie still. You were bleeding because of some upsetting situation. I’m guessing it was with Percy. You have to relax.”
Luke kept saying my name. walking sluggishly towards me. He was still bruised and battered. His cuts healing but not healed yet. He had a limp in his left leg. and you could still see a knife wound. The place on his shoulder where he stabbed himself to save the world.
“Luke. What do you want with Annabeth?”To everyone's surprise he answered. “I want to hold her. I want to kiss her, I love her.”
“Luke,” I said. “I’m in love with Percy. I love you too. Just not like that. You have always been a brother to me. Luke, listen go back to your room and rest.”
“You. You don’t love me.” His voice rough and scratchy, like old ugly christmas sweaters. “You love Perseus.”
“Luke.” Will tried. “Doctors orders. Go back to bed. Go to sleep.”
“Annabeth loves-” He pointed to Percy. “That!” He pounced on Percy. Punching at his face. Clawing at his. Percy rolled free. Luke kicked at him. Percy caught his foot and flipped Luke. “DON’T HURT HIM WORSE!” Will shouted.
“What am I supposed to do? Let him kill me?”
“Good point.”
After 10 minutes of pounding faces in, Alex, one of Will’s brothers tranquilized Luke. “He’ll be okay. He’ll wake up in about 5 hours.”
“What’s wrong with him?” I asked, laying flat on my back.
“Our guess is that instead of going to Elysium like we all hoped, Hades throw him into Tartarus. When The doors were open he managed to escape.”
“But that was years ago. You like he’s been looking for us for YEARS?” Percy asked. A bit of fear in his voice.
“Listen, man, I don’t know. It’s just a guess.” He grabbed both of Luke’s wrists and started dragging him back to his room. “I’d be careful if I were both of you.”
