The Immortality Trials (On Hold)

Annabeth,

Percy. Percy is the only thing I can remember right now. Percy the same sounds so familiar. Percy but I can't even match a face to the name. There's 16 other people around me, they all look confused as well. I look down to my hand and see that's it tightly gripped to the strangers next to me. I let out a little shout of suprise and we spring away faster than a gas station blows up in a Matt Damon movie!

I wrack my brain for anything that I can remember but nothing comes up. I look to the boy that I was holding hands with and see him staring intently at me. He has beautiful sea green eyes and longish scruffy black hair. He looks like one who has fought in many wars due to the old battle marks on his rough skin and the deep studios look in his eyes that make it look like he's always looking for a threat.
Then I remember the loud booming voice, "Let The Immortality Trials Begin!" What the heck are they? Who are all these people? Where am I?

Amnesia. This thing I have has a name, Amnesia. Do the others around me have it? They all look about as confused as I feel right now.

The boy I was holding hands with jumps into action and instantly takes charge. People seem to want to listen to him because he has courage to do this.

"Who here remembers something?" He asks the crowd around him. All hands go up in the air including mine, Percy. That's what I remember. Is it my name? Holy shit I don't know my own name! The natural leader points to a random girl who has bushy brown hair and dark skin motioning for her to talk.

"I remember one thing." She explains. "I remember that I am the daughter of Hades." She says worriedly and I look at other confused. The daughter of Hades as In the Greek god Hades? She then proceeds to lift her petite hands and a loud rumble shakes the floor and cracks appear before tonnes of gold and other precious metals appear floating in the air around her.

Oh god.

"Is that all you remember?" The leader boy asks her. She nods and drops the metals. "Anyone else?" He asks and again everyone raises their hands. He looks to me and nods. I swallow my gut feeling not to say it and whisper,

"Percy." It comes out small and it makes me sound weak and frightened. "Percy." I repeat with more authority. "That one name is all I remember, I don't know who it is as I can't put a face to the name." I tell everyone although it seems like I'm adressing him more than anyone else.

"Percy." He repeats, "That name does sound familiar." He tells me. "Anyone else?" He quickly moves on. One after the other people say what they remember. Some remember a face or a name like me and others remember a weapon such as a bow or a sword. One person remembers a house. One remembers a camp full with fun activities. One girl with brown-y red hair remembers how to make a taco. Once everyone has told what they remember they look back to leader boy. He's the only one who hasn't said what he remembers.

"Tell us!" A tall blonde guy with glasses demands. The leader boy looks torn like he wants to tell us but her can't.

"We all told you, what if we need it to remember?" A cocky boy asks. Just looking at him I can tell he's cocky.

"I-I remember nothing." He says sadly but behind his sad frown I can see something else.

"Liar!" I blurt out before quickly covering my mouth. I wasn't meant to say that. He looks over me suprised and a little taken back. He goes to open his mouth and reply to me when suddenly it gets dark and the room feels like it's spinning. I fall down to he concrete floor, pain shoots up my arms and I feel a little nauseous. I squeeze my eyes shut and hear the screams of others. Suddenly I don't feel the cold hard concrete beneath me but a softer substace that I think is grass. I try to stand up but my head wacks on something above me and I see stars and open my eyes where the settings are still dark just before I realise that I'm a gonner I stare into the sea green eyes of leader boy before passing out.
