The Immortality Trials (On Hold)

Together my group and I walk through the cold basement thingy. The damp moisture that surrounds us, makes me feel sick. The hallway we're walking down seems never ending. I sigh as we walk for a good hour or so and it all looks exactly the same as it did five minutes ago.

"And Annabeth, do you think that we're walking in a circle?" Nico suddenly asks after all this time, being silent. I look around assessing our situation.

"No," I start, "I don't think we are because I think that the walls aren't curved enough to be walking in a circle, it has to be just a really long walkway, like I said before, magic." I state from the best of my ability.

Everyone nods, seeming happy with my answer.

Then about five minutes we come to an intersection or a crossroads. There are now four paths to choose from including the one we're on.

"Should we split up?" Thalia asks cautiously.

"I think so," Percy says suddenly taking lead. "Jason, Piper and Leo, you guys go that way," He points towards to left of us, " Reyna, Frank and Hazel, you guys go straight ahead, Will, Nico and Thalia, go right and Annabeth and I will go back this way." Everyone splits into their groups and agrees with Percy's plan.

"We need a distress call or something." I speak up.

"Good idea, Annabeth." Piper acknowledges, "How about this?" She places her pointer finger and her middle finger onto her lips with her palm facing inwards and whistles a short but sharp tune. Everyone nods in agreement as we say our goodbyes before parting ways.

Percy and I don't talk much during our walk, I want to ask him what he's hiding but I don't know how to say it after all, I actually can't remember anything. He says he's my boyfriend but I can't remember him. I think he remembers more than the rest of us. Jason acts the same way, I wonder if it has something to do with their past...our past.

Percy and I silently turn a corner and I hear a distress call. It sounds painful and I instantly start running in the direction it came from because it didn't sound to far away.

Percy runs by my side. Then after we turn another corner..and another, I click, we're in a maze.

And then Because I'm too busy thinking about the maze, I run into a wall. At least I think it's a wall. I look up and see that it has a face. Fear jolts through me in a heightened panic before I notice that it's just a statue. Then I see Piper. She must've been the one who whistled because she's standing there alone. I forget about the statue and race over to her with Percy hot on my tail.

"What happened?" I ask her. She looks like she's struggling not to cry.

"Jason and Leo, they were k-killed." She stumbles on the last word and my eyes widen like saucers and my mouth drops open. Killed. The gods never mentioned that this was a fight to he death!

"How?" Percy demands.

"We were attacked by some monsters that I didn't recognise, they got Jason first and Leo tried to pull them off Jason but one got him from behind by the time I'd managed to speak up and tell them to leave, they were dead." Piper lets a few tears fall and I pull her into a friendly hug, she just lost her boyfriend and her close friend. I just lost two close friends...this is a nightmare. I look up to Percy who is staring into the nothingness with a hard look on his face of pure hatred and anger. He looks kinda scary and I wish that I had memories of him.

Sorry, I know it's been like three months but hey, at least I updated!
