Camp Legacy

I REALLY didn't want to hurt Forest. But I wanted to win, make my parents proud. I turned into an ant, (I was about to go spider but she would notice me) crawled around her, and then morphed back while she was still distracted. She didn't notice until I hit her.

After, I felt extremely guilty, but I helped up my fallen teammates and told them to take the flag over the creek. I was carrying Forest. The cut from my spatha would make a nasty scar if I didn't treat it soon. I'm no healer, but I knew that she was a descendant of Poseidon. The water would heal her, right? As soon as we got there, I laid her down on the ground, cupped some water in my hands, and dribbled it in slowly. Her wound was already healing.

My team carried the fag over the creek and it was all over. The conch horn blew signaling victory and my teammates started cheering. I called over Dad and asked him to take her to the infirmary. "Did YOU do this to her? Annabeth is going to kill me....." he said, but he turned into a giant eagle, grabbed her in his claws, and flew into camp.

My mom came over and gave me a big hug. "You did great. You better join your team or else they might present the laurels with out you!" She said as I ran off. I joined Love and Sergio in the cheering. Everyone sprinted back to camp to have s'mores at the campfire. They presented the laurels and it was a great night. Until Tommy ran over with the news.

"Which do you want first, good news or bad news?" He said calmly. "Good news, duh. Why do people even ask that question! Good news is obviously better than bad news!" I said.

"Good news is, I had a dream about where Alexis' parents are." He said. "That's great news! How could this have something bad?" Love shouted, starting to float in the air. "Bad news is, they've been captured." He finished with a sad look on his face. Was it just me or did it look fake?
