All Is Fair In Love And Friends

Jasmine felt sick. She felt as if something was trying to take over...it wasn't necessarily evil, just old and definitely powerful. But she didn't want to tell anyone just yet, especially since it was clearly Riley who needed help.
She gazed at her best friend who was bedridden. Riley's hair was no longer glossy and smooth, it was stringy and was clinging to her head. Strands were plastered to her pale hallow cheeks. She was trembling, her lips were quivering and she was saying things....things that made her parents and Chiron very uneasy.
"Luke! Help me! I helped you!" She cried out, tears were falling. "It hurts! This is too heavy!" Riley seemed I'm genuine pain. And then....a few strands of her hair turned silver.
Percy and Annabeth gasped. "When you held up the sky...." Percy mumbled.
Annabeth nodded and gripped her daughter's hand tighter.
"Zoe! No!" Riley cried again. She no longer seemed in pain. And them it started again, "Artemis! I can't take this much longer...I need to help Annabeth!"
"When I held up the sky." Percy muttered.
"Why...how....why is she experiencing our memories? My baby doesn't deserve to go through that pain!" Annabeth whispered through her tears.
Percy knelt on the other side of the bed. He brushed the hair away and kissed her forehead. Riley stopped shivering, but she continued mumbling. The room was quiet for another ten minutes until Riley cried out again.
"Luke....you don't have to do this! Kronos will discard you, kill you, without regrets!" She said.
"The Battle of Manhattan..." Percy and Annabeth whispered again.
"Seven half bloods shall answer the call, to storm or fire the world must fall. An oath the keep with a final breath, and foes bear arms to the Doors of Death." Riley spoke up, clearer than ever.
Jasmine felt the power grip harder on her, as if coming closer to overtaking her.
Riley continued. "Wisdom's daughter walks alone, the Mark of Athena burns through Rome. Twins snuff out the angels breath, who holds the key to endless death. Giants' bane stands gold and pale. Won through pain from a woven jail."
The grip strengthened.
"Why is she reciting prophecies? And only the two Great ones?" Percy asked.
"She's reached the chapter in your lives during the Giant war." Chiron answered.
"Percy....just let me go....save yourself." Riley whispered.
"Oh no! No no no!" Annabeth cried out. She tried to shake Riley awake.
"Before we fell into Tartarus." Percy agreed. He joined his wife.
"I don't want her to relive those memories! Anything but those! They're too horrible! She doesn't need to see that!" Annabeth cried again. Tears were now running down her cheeks, same as Percy's. They were frantically trying to awake their daughter before she relived their memories of Tartarus.
Riley stopped muttering. Her body went limp. Her parents sobbed with relief.
Then Riley shot up, awake. She pointed a finger towards Jasmine and said, "You....you're the new Oracle of Delphi."
"W-what did you say?" Jasmine screeched. But as soon as Riley said so, the grip tightened. It took over Jasmine.
Her eyesight dimmed. She felt herself losing control.
"Jas? Jasmine!" Tyler ran to her side. Chiron, Percy, and Annabeth paled again.
Jasmine felt the Grip opening her mouth to speak. But it wasn't her voice that came out, it was a raspy voice, an ancient voice.
The Eldest child of Wisdom and Waves,
Shall preserve Olympus or raze.
To the Sea of Woe she must go,
Or the Blood of Olympus shall flow.
But travel on to the City of Gold,
And the end of this Age shall behold.
The smoke died. Riley fell back on her pillow.
Jasmine felt herself gaining control once again.
As she stood up, she watched as Percy and Annabeth gazed at their daughter mournfully.
A new prophecy was spoken, and Riley was in it.
