All Is Fair In Love And Friends

Lucas nimbly climbed up to Riley's bunk. He quietly sat down at the foot of her bed and studied her.
Creeper much? No, just love.
Lucas watched as Riley's chest rose and fell ryhthmically. She was sporting a stolen pair of his boxers and an oversized hoodie, but she still looked like she could put supermodels to shame. A lock of her dark hair slid in front of her eyes.
Lucas had the sudden urge to push it back, but decided not to. Coming onto her bed was bad enough, touching her was just creepy and perverted.
(AN: Lucas and Riley are in the same cabin bc his mom is a sea goddess. He could've been in Hephaestus bc of his dad, he decided not to.)
The sun was slowly inching over the horizon as the light filtered through the window. Lucas got a perfect view of Riley's dark lashes and pink lips. A thin trail of saliva had met her pillow. She was drooling, which Lucas thought was hilarious.
He didn't mean it, but after awhile the sun wasn't the only one rising. Lucas blushed, even though no one could see his erection. He slid off the bunk and tried to think of something, anything, to make him unaroused. His thoughts went from school to ugly teachers to bitchy girls from his many past school. None of them worked.
Uh oh, time for the last resort. Lucas thought of the time when he was about 7 or 8 and he had run into his parents room. He remembered specifically seeing his parents on their bed in the midst of having sex...and Lucas could see the condom.
Yep, that did it. His dick went limp faster than be could think about it. Lucas shuddered at the thought.
The sun was past the tree line now, which meant breakfast would be starting soon. Lucas walked over to Riley's bed and gently shook her awake.
Riley turned over and muttered something. Lucas caught only one word: babe.
Riley sat up super quick and turned red. She put her face in her palms. The hoodie sleeves hid her hands, which Lucas thought made her look even cuter.
"Babe huh?" Lucas smirked.
"Shut up. I was half asleep, cut me some slack!" Riley punched his arm.
"Excuses." Lucas smiled.

- 3 hours later -

Lucas was still thinking about Riley during his third activity: sword fighting. And she was beating his ass. Apparently Percy Jackson had taught his daughter how to sword fight when she turned 3.
Lucas thought back to the kiss they had shared in their cabin before breakfast. He wondered what had urged her to do it. Not that he was complaining.
"Focus Lucas! Focus!" Riley's voice brought him back to reality. Lucas went in for a blow, which Riley easily parried. She hit him in the chest with flat of her blade. Lucas lost balance, his sword clattered out of his hands.
"Man, you're good." Lucas muttered.
"You should thank my dad, he taught me everything I know." Riley answered. She held out her hand, which Lucas gratefully took, and helped him up.
Their eyes locked. And for one moment, they both knew they were thinking of the same thing: The Kiss.
The air sparked with electricity, that is, until Serena Geace, Jasmine Zhang, and Nick Zhang came barreling into the arena.
"Guys! Come quick!" Jasmine was out of breath. "I think I found a way to rid Tyler from the Mist."
