All Is Fair In Love And Friends

Jasmine guessed she should have been surprised, but to be honest, it made perfect sense. Tyler was originally Serena's twin brother, but somehow, someway, he got wrapped in the Mist. The Mist portrayed him as younger, when really, they were the same age.
While everyone was staring wide eyed as Tyler and Serena left Cabin One, Jasmine was chuckling inwardly.
"Guys I think I'm going to go now." Jasmine spoke up, ending everyone else's shock fest. Jasmine didn't have enough room in her heart for shock. Love, relief, and concern were already battling for supreme rule.
Jasmine walked out of Cabin One and into the warm sunshine. She had forgotten how cold it was in Cabin One and appreciated the rays beating down on her skin.
She thought of how Tyler had looked at her when he got up from the cot. How he he smiled down at her as if she were the most prized and precious person he had ever seen. She remembered how he had said "Thank you,". It was a wonder how much tenderness she felt in those two words.
Jasmine also remembered the relief she had felt...twice. The first when Tyler had gotten up from a cot, UNSCATHED. She had been close to tearing her hair out from worrying. Knowing her luck, she thought that she would've caused Tyler to become mildly disfigured....or at least wrapped deeper into the Mist, being the klutz that she was.
What could she say? She WAS the daughter of Frank Zhang wasn't she?
Jasmine pushed the two emotions aside and focused on her concern for Serena. She remembered the sight of Serena, crumpled in a heap on the floor. The color of her tan totally drained from her face, her skin clammy. The thought of her eyes rolled back in her head while she was unconscious made Jasmine want to keel over.
Jasmine realized she had made it to the sword fighting arena. She remembered when she had run in on Lucas and Riley earlier that day. It was obvious that the two were on their way to sharing a kiss, but Jasmine had been so focused on saving Tyler she hadn't given them another thought.
Guilt washed over her. She had ruined a special moment for them. What type of friend was she?
"Stop it." She muttered to herself. "Riley and Lucas didn't look like they minded. They would never let me be this hard on myself."
But the guilt wouldn't go away. Jasmine pushed it to the back of her mind and grabbed a sword. She began to attack dummies. She jabbed, sliced, diced, severed, and attacked the dummies. She poured all her worry, guilt, and regret into her blows.
Before she knew it, all the dummies had been massacred. Tufts of straw were scattered all over the cobble stones. Jasmine felt tired, but happy. She had drained all her excess emotions, and it felt great.
Jasmine was about to leave when a hand slapped over her mouth. Another hand covered her eyes. She felt herself being hauled away.
Panic gripped Jasmine, turning her blood to ice. She felt the hands over her eyes, they were rough, tough, crusty, and rusty. She assumed that it was a boy. Jasmine swung her leg back (or forward...technically speaking) and rammed her heel into the abducters balls. She heard a squeal and a cry out in pain as the boy fell over, releasing her from his grasp.
Jasmine swiveled to face him, her vision purple with rage.
The boy had curly cinnamon brown hair and tilted eyes, just like hers. He had caramel colored skin....just like hers. He was clutching his groin and screaming bloody murder. But the worst part was....Jasmine recognized him. She knew who he was. It was Nick, and he was on the verge of tears.
Oh shit.
