Song-fic One-shots

Percy was looking over the sea. The buildings around him weren't enough to tell where he was, but they were enough to tell he was nowhere near camp Half-Blood. His expression changed, as if he recognized something but couldn't figure what. Then, he muttered her name for himself:

- "Annabeth..." In that moment, she wanted to do something, but she couldn't. She wanted to scream she was right there, but no sound came from her mouth.

She woke up. How she hated demigod's dreams! At least she knew her boyfriend was alive, but still had no clue where he was.

So, she did what she always did when she missed Percy: She got up, putting on her Yankees cap, escaped her cabin, the most silent possible, so no one could hear her, and went to the beach.

The cold sand, the moonlight and the salty smell of the sea calmed her down. She almost could hear Percy's whisper coming across the water. She started to remember all the moments they passed together. They know each other for five year, since they were 12.

Percy wasn't just Annabeth's boyfriend. He was more than that. He was her best-friend. If she had to pass through so many monsters, fights, wars, dangers and adventures, she found herself lucky she had him at her side.

But now he was gone. He just disappeared for no reason, and she didn't knew where he was. She tried desperately to find him. No one seemed to understand why she was so worried about him. But they also didn't knew how long she waited for Percy to be more than her friend.

She couldn't handle back the tears in her eyes, and they started to run down her cheeks. And without noticing, she felt asleep. Next morning she woke up, and realized someone was next to her. It was Piper.

- Hey! Good Morning!! - She said

-Why are you here?

- Chiron asked me to find you..

That's when she realized what happened, and that meant she was in trouble!

- Ohh! How do you knew I was here?- Annabeth asked.

- Some things are better not ask to a daughter of Aphrodite! - she answered in a joke tone.

Annabeth grabbed her pendant's coral, with her gaze fixed on the ocean.

- Hey! Annie! Don't worry! He will come back! I just feel it... - Piper said in a soft voice. That's what she wanted to hear, so, she didn't cared if her friend was using charmspeak. She smiled anyway.

- Thanks Pipes! - She said and hugged her. She knew she could trust Piper. They knew each other for little time, but she was like a little sister to her.

- Now, I think is a good idea go back, before Chiron send someone else to find us!

And they went together to the camp. Although Piper had told Annabeth not to worry, she spent most of the day thinking about Percy. She was going to wait for him, even if that meant she would have to wait forever.

She was in love with her best friend, and felt like the luckiest person in the world for that.
