Song-fic One-shots

I woke up. For a second, the dark of my room at the Argo II scared me. Every shadow in front of me was a monster. I was in panic. Trembling, I reached the light button, and turned on the lamp. Instantly, when the room got lightened I was filled by a calming feeling of security. I couldn't turn the lamp off, so I tried to sleep again. But I couldn't. So I sat on the bed and stared at the wall in front of me.

When my breath got steady I heard my door opening, in a clumsy way. Right away, a blonde haired girl stepped inside, closing the door. She was shaking, her eyes were red, and her cheeks were wet.

- Ohh sorry I didn't know you were awake! - Annabeth said, still sobbing, when she realized I wasn't sleeping.
- It's ok. What happened? - I asked worried

She sat on the bed next to me, and I hold her in my arms

- I- I had a bad dream! - With that she started to cry again.

- If it makes you feel better, I had one too, before you entered

- That's why your light is on??

I nodded.

- What was it about??- She asked

I looked at the girl next to me. She looked so fragile and weak, and I started to doubt if i should tell her. It would only make her worst. She looked at me.

- It was about Tartarus. - I said - And yours??

She didn't answer

- If you don't wanna to talk about it is ok, you know? - I tried to comfort her.

- No. I came here to talk to you. Because I knew you would understand. - She was still shaking.

- So, you wanna tell me??

Annabeth took a deep breath

- It was about Tartarus too. I was hurt and dying, and I couldn't help you, and we were both dying there and wouldn't be able to help our friends.. I felt so useless!!

And then, she started to cry even more than before.

I tightened the embrace, and pressed her even more to me.

- Shh, it's ok. You're Not useless. Not a bit! And we were both dying, but at least we were together, right?? You see, not even in your dreams I leave you.

She started to calm down. And a smile appeared on her face, I wiped her tears away.

- I would never leave you wise girl. - I said, making sure I really meant it

- You promise?? - She asked, now looking straight into my eyes

- Have I ever left you until now?? Except that thing with Hera..

- No seaweed brain. That's why I love you.

So I did the most obvious thing in the world: I kissed her. But It was more than that. It was a "I can't let you go, because I need you and will never leave you again" kiss. We pulled apart, gasping for air.

- I love you too. But now we should get some sleep.

She looked at me with a strange face

- Can I... Can I sleep here tonight?? - She blushed a little

- Do you thought you still had to ask?

So, she got into the bed, next to me. I kissed her forehead

- Good night.

- Good night. - She replied

And next to each other, we fell asleep, and had no more nightmares.

Soo, I know this have been done before and it's VERY cliché, but really, I couldn't get the idea out of my mind, so I wrote it anyway
