Half Blood Hollow

I didn't mean to do it. Ever since I found out was a demititan a daughter of Theia I've had some pretty cool abilities. I'm not huge on the monster list so I get to go home to see my father every school year. In fact it today was the first day of school so fun right?!
Wrong..
My dad insisted I try out for track. I knew I would make the team and so did he but unfortunately no one knew who the coach would be.
After school I ran to the field behind the school and stood in line. The girl beside me had blonde hair gum in her mouth and spent most of her of her time checking her image in the mirror. 'Gods Narcissistic much' I couldn't help but giggle to myself which of course she didn't notice. I stood there in the heat the sun was blistering today. 'If only i could' no nope no way I can't risk it. So I stood there and stood there and stood there until finally the coach came. He dressed in an all black track suit but but he had such a tummy he looked like he would be the home EC teacher.
He told us to run some laps it was simple until he started picking us out. One by one he yelled a girls name and they grunted and walked to sit down. Finally it was only me and the Narcissus wanna be I'll be honest she was fast it was impossible to keep up. But I tried anyway. Finally she beat me barely by half an inch.
The coach yelled at me to sit down. So I grunted over to the beach and took a seat. After a bunch of exercises he released us. Or them at least. I remember his deep angry voice.
"Adsila stay."
"Um its Eddy sir"
"Ill call you what I want"
"But your off the team"
"What why?!?"
I mean you couldn't have blamed me right I had been practicing all summer.
"BEACAUSE I SAID SO AND YOU NO GOOD"
"But I got in second!!"
Then he just blew gods he had such a temper. Before I knew what happened I was glowing. Well at least my hands were. And next thing I know he was holding his face in his hands and I was running. Running away it was a stupid thing to do but i knew what I had to do. Of course it was far away but I already lived in New York.
