Demigods United

Dave

"I don't like this. They're a demititan, not a monster, they shouldn't be locked up."
"David, try and keep in mind. To demigods, that's the same thing." Eliza said, trying to calm me down. It didn't work really. I was fuming. Not only did they capture this Demititan but they went out and just grabbed her out of nowhere, hunted her down like some animal. It was sick.
"Doesn't excuse it...where do they have him anyways?"
"In a cell beneath the barracks." Reyna said over her shoulder, leading us down threw the barracks to wherever it was she was being held. "And shes not a he."
"A female one? I can't tell if I have the best or worst luck. On one hand, I'm surrounded by Demititan babes. On the other, there are no guys around." I looked back over my shoulder. Reyna was leading our little group down while Eliza and Seth were talking about gods know what, occasionally laughing. Whatever it was, Alec wasn't to happy about it. I nudged him a little, whispering to him. "You alright man? I thought I was supposed to be the moody teenager."
"I'm fine Dave, let's just grab her and go..."
"Alright..." I spoke up to Reyna. "How much further down does this thing go? I hate being underground."
"Quit whining David, were almost there." She kept walking till the small stairwell opened up into a larger room, the walls lined with cells. At the end of the row, two Roman guards were positioned with large spears. I frowned quickly walking ahead of Reyna.
I stepped in front of the cage, looking inside at the girl. She looked about 5'5" with an olive skin tone. She had long black hair, and a more muscular body type. To be perfectly honest, the only cage this girl looked like she belonged in was the wrestling kind. She looked up at me, looking into my eyes with her pale blue ones. With the white flecks in her eyes, it looked like you could see the entire universe in her eye, on top of the dark freckles that look like constellations and thick eyebrows.
"Hello?" She asked softly.
"Hi! I'm David, David Banner. People call me Dave."
"I'm Jasmine...Jasmine LaCosta."
"Well can I just say, it is incredible to be meeting you..." I turned to Reyna. "Praetor, I think Jasmine and I would like to talk in a more open environment. How about we let her out of that cramped cage and go for a walk?" She frowned a little before looking at her guards. "Let her out and escort them."
The glanced between each other nervously before walking into the cell, releasing the chains on Jasmine. She rubbed her wrist as they did so, looking at me with a mix of emotions. Curiosity, gratefulness, unease and just the slightest bit of trust.
"Right. Come on Jasmine, I'll show you around."

We walked along the Little Tiber, the two guards from before staying about 20 feet back. Alec and Eliza had gone off with Reyna to talk about letting her come with us. All I had to do was watch her for the next half hour or so.
"So, you're a Demititan too then right?" She finally asked after walking silently the last ten minutes. I laughed a bit at her sudden bluntness before nodding.
"David Banner, son of Selene. People call me Dave."
"So I've heard...I don't remember you, from back at Mount Tam."
"No, you probably wouldn't. I wasn't with the others back then." She was talking about the secret camp on Mount Tam founded by the Titans. While I was raised in Seattle and wasn't taught about who I was until I was older, all of the other Demititans were training in every form of combat the second they learned to walk. These guys were kept in a box their entire lives until Jason Grace attacked Mount Tam during the second Titanomachy. In all the chaos, the Demititans were split up and ran for their lives, not knowing anything about the outside world, just knowing that they were free. Five years later, and here we are, finally beginning to regroup.
"You were the boy who let us out..."
"Mhmm. I couldn't let my family get hurt." I smiled to her and all she did was look at her shoes. I frowned awkwardly, continuing on for a few more feet. "So...do you know why I'm here?"
"You want us all to regroup I'm guessing."
"Smart. Yea, I've been looking for nearly half a year now, and I've already found Clio and Kira." She perked up at the sound of their names but otherwise didn't respond. We walked a little further before I glanced over my shoulder. "Hey, you wanna get out of here?"
"What about thing one and two back there?" She said, referencing to the guards.
"Oh trust me, I can handle that just fine. Just stay close to me and we'll be in the clear." I smiled before my eyes lit up, working my magic. An illusion passed over us, making us invisible to the naked eye as duplicates took our place. Exact copies of us made out of lunar energy. Jasmine gasped a little at the sight of a second version of herself. "Wow..."
"Pretty cool right? Now that we've got nothing to worry about, what do you want to do?" She looked down, hesitating for a second before answering.
"The little trailer park outside the camp. I've got something over there I need to pick up. Could we go get it?"
"Sure thing." I took her hand, smirking as she looked up at me questioningly. "Hang on tight." And with that, I took off towards the sky, dragging her screaming along with me.

I laughed as we landed, her hair wind blown as she punched my shoulder. "It's not funny!"
"You're right, it was hilarious!" I held my sides in pain as I kept laughing, Jasmine pouting a little. I wiped a tear away before turning to her. "Sorry, I should've warned you about that, I'll remember next time."
She mumbled something incoherent under her breath before turning towards the little trailer park. "It's right down here, shouldn't take to long to grab it."
"Sounds good, lead the way."
She nodded, walking threw the dirt streets. I took a quick look around. This place looked like it hasn't been used in years. All the trailers seemed empty, their weren't any cars, the yards were unkept. It was becoming less like a trailer park and more like a ghost town.
"Hey Jasmine, does something seem-"
"It's right up here." She said, quickly cutting me off. She suddenly broke into a run, turning into a lot behind a trailer and out of my sight.
"Hey!" I called after her, quickly running after her. When I turned the corner I gasped as my breath flew out of me. Literally, the air was sucked out of my lungs as I stepped into a miniature tornado, Jasmine standing on the other side with her eyes glowing white. I fell to my knees as my lungs began to collapse, clutching my throat.
"I'm really sorry about this David...you seem really nice but like you said, I'm looking out for my family..." I tried to respond to her but instead fell to the ground, gasping for air. A chuckle came from behind me, Jasmine looking up.
"I got him for you..."
"Good job Jessie, I'm very proud of you."
"Actually, it's Jasmine-"
"Whatever. Cut the suction." On command, the tornado died off, leaving me gasping. All of a sudden someone grabbed the back of my head, yanking me up to my knees. I opened my eyes, looking into a pair of aviators above a smug grin.
"Hello Davey." Kain said, standing over me. "I was wondering when you were going to get here."

@Portaokper
Hey man, I wasn't invited to the forum either. I asked. And I don't have anything to do with the character court so IDK. Take initiative.

@That_Dam_Persassy
The new forum was made before I said I was leaving and before I started being absent. I also have an new OC waiting to be judged in the Court. I'll change my bio.

@Portaokper
Well... you did tell everyone that you were leaving. It's even in your bio.

I was bored. And mad that I was left out of the Forum and this.
