The Thirteenth Olympian (Remake)

I Become An Olympian

I woke up quite some time after being KO'd by the silvery being. Since time was one of my domains as a god, I instantly knew time-related stuff. It was 12:37 in the afternoon, and I had been out for a week after summoning that mountain, including the little bout with silver.

Speaking of which, I should go check on how that was going. I swung my legs over the side of the bed. I almost immediately sat back down, as blood rushed to my head. Even as god it affected me greatly, which sorta pissed me off. I hated that sensation.

I flashed myself back to Earth, out of Apollo's palace hospital. Unfortunately, I was still pretty out of it, so I hadn't gone to the right place. I managed to get to my mountain on the fourth attempt. Man, teleporting was difficult when you just came out of a coma.

My mountain looked the same as it had before, a large, screwed up cone of pure rock. I should change that. First off, a massive earthquake. The shaking cracked the rock in a few places, shifting it in others. It looked a lot better.

Next up, I combined my water powers with my earth powers, and managed to create two rivers by creating a tunnel to a nearby underground source, then started the stream off by moving it with my water powers. The rivers kept going on their own. One flowed around the base, while one flowed down from near the peak.

Vegetation would be an issue. I decided to hit up some dryads from the surrounding forest. They said they would think aboit moving up there, but were slightly ticked about the earthquake that created it, and the more recent one. Looks like vegetation was iffy. I could have just forced the dryads to go, being a god and all, but I decided against it. I did not need dandelions out for my blood.

I also sped up time on the mountain, just to give it that weathered look. I was contemplating living there, when Hermes flashed in.

"Percy, we're having a council meeting, and dad wants you there.

He grabbed my shoulder, and took us to Olympus without my consent. I flashed a withering glare at him, and the messenger looked semi-apologetic. I then turned my gaze upon Zeus.

"Why do you not bow, boy? I am King of the Gods!" Zeus thundered.

I just kept on staring, until Zeus got irritated. I noticed my dad face-palm, which cracked me up. Apparently I laughed out loud, because Zeus summoned his Master Bolt. If I didn't hear the crackling electricity, Zeus would have smited me without a word.

My eyes widened, and I knelt so quick I kneed my self in the jaw. Zeus seemed satisfied by my fear, because he stowed away his bolt. I heard a small chuckle, and when I looked around, I realized it was Artemis. I raised an eyebrow at her, but didn't say a thing. Made sense she would laugh at my pain, but not during a council meeting.

"So what's up, uncle Zeus?" I said, trying to ignore the pain in my jaw.

"It has come to my attention that since becoming a god, you have gotten quite powerful. Since I can't have you doing as you please, you will become a part of the Olympian council to keep an eye on you."

Talk about blunt. Apparently my opinion was invalid, because a throne raised up out of the marble floor. It was rather interesting. On the backrest of the throne was a clock, with a miniature Earth in the middle. As I looked closer, I realized that the clock hands were ticking, and the mini-Earth was rotating. The armrests were two giant hourglasses, which seemed to be working perfectly fine despite being sideways. Water waves danced across the bottom of the seat, and the primary colors of the throne were blue, gold, and green.

"Now that you are the thirteenth Olympian, there are some issues to be taken care of, such as rewriting history with the Mist. Council dismissed," Zeus said before flashing out.

I was still standing in the center of the throne room, shellshocked from the events that just took place, when my father walked over.

"Well, that was rather unexpected. But i'm proud of you. I shall help you with the basics of being an Olympian. The first order of business is a palace for you. Any preferences?" He asked

"Yeah, I know the perfect spot. Actually, I made it." My father looked confused as all Hades. I grabbed his shoulder and flashed us to the peak of my mountain. He wore the expression I was just a minute ago.

"Percy, how did you do this?" He asked.

Being the god of earth, and son of the earthshaker helped. But I wasn't gonna tell dad that. I wanted him to figure it out for himself. Which may take a while, considering I definitely got my "intelligence" from him.
