Should I forgive

Percy's POV
*flashback*
I had just gotten back from a quest that Poseidon had given me. Just before then I had gotten Athena's approval to propose to the love of my life...Annabeth. I held the blue box in my pocket and then went to the Big House to greet Chiron and Mr.D.when I got there I saw Rachel and Grover talking on the porch."Hey guys what's up!" I said.Rachel rolled her eyes and left.Strange he thought. Grover smile and waves but looks sad."Hey Perce there is something you should know and your not going to like it." Grover said. Percy nodded to go on but was cut off when Chiron stepped outside.He stared at me like he was angry and the snorted and galloped off. Grover ran after him shouting at him to what sounded like he said it's not true he would never do that. I shook it off because I was so excited to propose to Annabeth.All of a sudden and boy came up to me, he looked a little muscular and had short brown hair and sea green eye and looked Percy's age."Sup' I'm Jacob son of Poseidon hero of camp I see your new here you've must have just came in so tell me, what do you know about the Greek and Roman gods?"Jacob said. I burst out laughing and told Jacob that I just came back from a quest and that I am his half brother. He shrugged it off and said one last thing to me,"Oh and I tell this to everyone, don't even try to take my girl" then he walked off. Wow things changed around here.I kept walking and greeting my friends though they all did the same as Rachel and Chiron, well except for Nico, Thalia(the hunters were visiting),Clarisse,and Chris. When I made it to Athena's cabin I slipped a piece of paper under the door for Annabeth that said to meet me at the beach after dinner for a date but I didn't here anyone take it.I went to Grover to ask him what he was going to say earlier.I saw him sitting under a tree and so I walked towards him."Hey Grover what were you going to tell me earlier but never did?"I said while sitting next to him.He sighed and said "Perce I am sorry but everyone thinks that this whole time you were just trying to get attention that's why I was saying you would never do that. The Romans never believed that so we don't talk to the Romans anymore." I was stunned.That really happened?"Oh well thanks for telling me Grover hopefully this will get better." Grover smiled and the conch horn blew signaling dinner time.

*after dinner and at the beach*

I was all ready to go I got the ring the food and the drinks. I was walking down to the beach and set it up. I waited I little bit but no one came so I wrote a note and said I am going for a walk down the beach just in case she comes and I am not there.I started walking down the beach when I heard people kissing."Your way better Jacob"said a familiar female voice. I had no clue who it was but it was Jacobs girlfriend so I wanted to know who to stay away from. I hid behind a bush and saw two people holding hands and kissing. It was Jacob and...Annabeth? I tears started to fall and I stepped out from behind my bush and they stared at me."P-Percy I d-didn't k-now you w-were b-back it's not what it looks like..."Annabeth said I was speechless. I grabbed the box from my pocket and threw it on the ground and ran off only to be stopped by my dad... Poseidon.
