Are we okay?

Perceus Jackson awoke in his cabin from a bad dream. The usual- him trying to save his girlfriend in Tartarus. His girlfriend, Annabeth, is the main reason he even wakes up. Percy immediately hit the showers.
Once he was done, he allowed the water to stay on him. He could make it so he wasn’t wet, but he found it comforting. Really, the only thing that could keep him calm nowadays was Annabeth and water.
He walked to the dining pavilion, where all his friends were having breakfast. Camp Half-Blood has had some changes recently. Cabins are being built for all Gods and deities. People don’t have to sit at certain tables based on their parents. And Romans are allowed.
In fact- Jason, Hazel, and Frank, some of Percy’s best friends, are Roman. These changes appeared when Percy and 6 others helped defeat Gaea and her giants. The Romans and the Greeks were at war after rediscovering each other.
In short (It was a huge ordeal), Hera, or Juno, forced the two camps to integrate. Leo, Piper, Jason, and Annabeth took the Argo II to meet up with Percy, Frank and Hazel. All seven had to defeat Gaea, but first had to find Nico Di Angelo. While 6 of the demigods were saving Nico, Annabeth was trying to save the bond between Romans and Greeks by following the Mark of Athena to find the Athena Parthenos. Percy and Annabeth fell into Tartarus when the 6 demigods plus Nico went to retrieve Annabeth. They went through the Doors of Death and Leo gave his life to save the whole world.
Thinking about it now, Percy realized just how much he has had to go through. He sat down next to Annabeth, across from Jason. “Your’e up late,” commented Annabeth. Percy just nodded, uncharacteristically quiet. Annabeth grabbed his hand and squeezed it a little.
“You okay?” Percy looked into her concerned gray eyes. “Yeah. I promise.” Annabeth smiled a reassuring smile, and turned forward again. Frank cleared his throat, cleary uncomfortable. Percy managed to order blue french toast, though he didn’t eat it all. Piper and Jason chatted. Hazel and Frank chatted. Sometimes the two conversations would merge, and they’d all four talk about the same thing.
Annabeth and Percy stayed relatively quiet. Finally, Annabeth just said, “Follow me, seaweed brain.” They both hopped up from the bench and walked off, signaling to the others that they’d meet up later.
They walked a little, through the woods, towards the beach. “What’s wrong,” asked Annabeth, “seriously.” Percy sighed. “I don’t really know what happens now, I guess. We defeated Gaea. Leo is gone… what now? Do we just… wait?” Annabeth smiled and glanced at him before leaning her head up and looking at the sky.
“Yeah. And live our lives. We can stay in Camp Jupiter. Go to college! That was the plan, remember?” Percy smiled, his spirits already beginning to rise. “Of course I remember. What was I thinking? We need a break. We deserve semi-normal lives.”
Annabeth nodded in agreement, and payed attention to where they were going again. So they walked and chatted, doing what they loved to do. Being together. They even talked about some sad stuff, glad to get things off their chests. This mostly meant talking about Leo.
Everyone was so sad when they didn’t find him. Hazel and Nico had said that it felt weird, but they definitely felt him die. It was horrible. Everyone loved Leo. He was usually pretty funny. Not to mention, if not for him, the quest wouldn’t have even started.
He stayed awake day and night for a month in order to build Argo II, the ship that the demigods used as transportation (and sometimes as a weapon.) He nearly drove himself insane. His death affected everyone, even demigods that barely knew him.

End Note: Sorry, it was sort of short, but this is like the pilot story, so I'm just seeing how you guys like it for now. Also, sorry about abrupt ending... :3
