Why don't you have it so Annabeth designed it? If I were her I would build the temple she was talking about in one part of the series where it changes to represent a different god every day, it would be a kind of meeting place in the middle of a park where demigods can send offerings to their godly parents. The city itself should be smaller than new Rome because there are less demigods, the streets should be well placed and easy to make longer in case they had to expand the city. There would be fountains in convenient places for iris messages and shops in good places too. The houses should be all pretty much the same, two levels with two bedrooms and a bathroom on the top and the kitchen and everything else downstairs. The houses would be decorated according to the demigods parents, for example, Jason and Piper would have lightning bolts and doves for decoration. Good luck!
